Have you ever wondered why Jesus came when He did? Why not earlier or why not later? Was it random, or was there a divine reason behind the timing? Paul answers this in Galatians 4:4 when he writes, “But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son…” Join us this Sunday, 10:45am, as we examine Galatians 4, and what Paul meant when he said, “the fullness of time."

"I Believe, but help me to forgive!”—Ever asked the Lord to help you forgive? Forgiveness asks a lot—it challenges hurt, pride, and sometimes a sense of justice. When someone wrongs us, it can feel like letting go means excusing their actions or allowing them to hurt us again. But real forgiveness isn't about forgetting or pretending nothing happened; it's about releasing ourselves from the weight of resentment. Join us this Sunday and Next Sunday, at 10:45am, as we examine a two-part series on what the Bible says about forgiveness.

“Lord, I Believe, but Help my unbelief!”—“I have doubts!” “Lord, I want to believe or trust you, but I can’t!” Ever felt this way, prayed these words, or at least thought about them? Perhaps this has been a recent or historical prayer or plea you’ve cried out to the Lord! At a time when everyone speaks their own truth, and in a world where religion runs chaos, how can we know what's real, or what's true? Moreover, where can we turn to gain or regain confidence and trust for the assurance of our faith? How can we turn our doubts into faith? Doubt is sometimes characterized as a “natural human experience” and is generally viewed as a potential hindrance to faith, while unbelief is seen as a rejection of God and His truth. When we examine Biblical truth and what is says about doubt and unbelief, we can learn to respond to the doubts to help promote our confidence, even when we don’t “feel” confident in our faith. Join us this Sunday and Next Sunday, at 10:45am, as we examine a two-part study on Doubt.

Many of us have seen or currently watch the game show called, "Family Feud." Although the game show seems fun, however, when "feuds" become reality pains in our life, it's not so much fun! In fact, in our daily lives and in our culture, the term "feud" is too common and is characterized as a conflict, issue, or even dysfunctional. Further, we've let our "mess" and imperfections become the description of our identity, almost to the point where we believe God cannot use us, or even forgive us. Sadly, and often, this expression is also used as an excuse to justify our bad behaviors. But, the story of Jacob and Laban yields much hope and insight into our behavior as well as divine intervention. In this message, we'll discover that 1) Every Family has issues 2) God can function in your issues, and 3) Spiritual growth can occur during your "feuds." Join us this Sunday, 10:45am, as we dip into the lives of the Patriarchs, and see that despite the Family Feud of the faithful patriarchs, God was still able to use them!

We’ve turned the corner to a New Year, but the truth is our mission is not complete! As we set new goals and embrace for new challenges, we need to consider the words of the Apostle Paul, as he provides us some important principles that can help us answer a few very important questions: “What Do We Do Now?,” “What Do We Want to accomplish in 2025?,” and as a church, “Do We Know Where We Are Going?” Join us at 10:45am, as we try to answer these important questions!

So many of the great songs of the Christmas season have "hope" as the theme. Perhaps the most famous is the familiar hymn from 1847, “O Holy Night,” which describes the "thrill of hope" as the weary world rejoices. There are two people in the Christmas story who are often overlooked, but who embodied "hope" as they waited with expectation for years on end for Jesus’ birth. Join us this Sunday, 10:45am, as we reveal the identity of these two great examples of hope, and discover what it means biblically to have hope.

We're entering the season of Thanksgiving, but the truth is we should be thankful all the time despite our circumstances. 1 These. 5:16-18 tells us, “Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Therefore, let's give thanks in all circumstances, and make it permanent in our way of life, naturally flowing from our hearts. Join us Sunday, 10:45am, as we explore the "Spirit of Thankfulness."

This week, I invite you to join us as we examine the only book in the New Testament devoted entirely to Apostasy (the abandoning of the truth, or defecting from the faith). We'll look at Our Call to Serve, Why we are to Contend or Fight for the Faith, and our Call to battle Apostasy. Join us at 10:45am. Hope to See You There! Dr. Povolish.
