Presents & Presence
It’s easy to get caught up in the commercial side of the Christmas season. We place a lot of pressure on ourselves to make sure we get all the baking done, the candy made, the tree decorated, the presents wrapped, the parties attended, etc. But Christmas truly is much more than all of that.
Have you thought about what your gift will be to Jesus? After all, it’s his birthday that we will be celebrating. Will you look beyond the lights, ornaments and tinsel and devote time to God? Will you spend time in prayer, read scripture, help those less fortunate than yourself? Will you allow yourself to find a quiet place to feel His presence in your life over the coming days?

He has given each of us so much more than we could ever imagine. He freely offers his grace and mercy. He forgives the repentant sinner. He loves us when we are unlovable. He died so that we might have eternal life! How about that for the perfect gift?

If you don’t have a relationship with Him, I invite you to seek Him during this Christmas season. Ask Him to come into your life, to guide & direct you. His presence in your life will be the best gift you can receive; and it’s wrapped in love!

…..but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom 6: 23b)

It was an enjoyable evening at the soup supper and auction last evening. Special music by the Chase County High School Voices. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the event.

Our fall fundraiser is just 2 short weeks away. Once again we'll have a delicious selection of delicious soups along with homemade chicken and noodles not to mention pie and cake. We'll be entertained by local students during dinner. Afterwards we'll have raffles and a live auction where you can start or finish your holiday shopping. JOIN US FOR FUN, FELLOWSHIP AND A FULL TUMMY!
