Day 8: 🙏🇺🇸

📌 Pray that the Lord will place individuals in office who fulfill God's sovereign
purpose.

📖 Romans 13:1-7
(1) Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
(2) Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.
(3) For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same;
(4) for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil.
(5) Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience’ sake.
(6) For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.
(7) Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.

Day 7: 🙏🇺🇸

📌 Pray for each candidate to know and remember that it is not by personal might, power, ability, or fundraising that they will be victorious and successful in leadership. It is only by God’s Spirit and His sovereign will that people are given the opportunity and ability to lead others. Protect the candidates, their families and the campaign workers from physical, emotional and spiritual attacks and harm. Help each individual to grow closer to God through the campaign. Protect them from becoming corrupted by the power they acquire by being in office.

📖 Proverbs 2:10-12
(10) He who winks the eye causes trouble, And a babbling fool will be ruined.
(11) The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, But the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.
(12) Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all transgressions.

📖 Zechariah 4:6
(6) Then he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of hosts.

Day 6: 🙏🇺🇸

📌 Pray for the protection and the integrity of the voting process including registration and participation. Protect the vote counting process. Help each individual involved in the process to be a person of integrity.

📖 Daniel 6:1-4
(1) It seemed good to Darius to appoint 120 satraps over the kingdom, that they would be in charge of the whole kingdom,
(2) and over them three commissioners (of whom Daniel was one), that these satraps might be accountable to them, and that the king might not suffer loss.
(3) Then this Daniel began distinguishing himself among the commissioners and satraps because he possessed an extraordinary spirit, and the king planned to appoint him over the entire kingdom.
(4) Then the commissioners and satraps began trying to find a ground of accusation against Daniel in regard to government affairs; but they could find no ground of accusation or evidence of corruption, inasmuch as he was faithful, and no negligence or corruption was to be found in him.

Day 5: 🇺🇸🙏

📌 The the Lord for Godly politicians who are currently serving and for the Legislators, Executives, and Judges who do not know God, that He would call them to Himself. Remind Believers that personal transformation is more important than transfer of political power and that the elected official’s eternal destiny is more important that who is in office or a change of law.

📖 Proverbs 2:21
For the upright will live in the land And the blameless will remain in it.

📖 1 Timothy 2:1-2
(1) First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men,
(2) for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.

Day 4: 🇺🇸🙏

📌 Pray that the individuals running for office to put serving others ahead of selfish purposes and prevent those running for office from making campaign promises they cannot fulfill. Uphold the dignity of each person involved in the political process and help us to remember that all have been created in the image of God.

📖 Genesis 1:26, 27
(26) Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

(27) God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

📖 1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
