I was a bit skeptical about the series The Chosen but after the third or fourth episode I’ve been all in. Jesus is funny and kind; the disciples are flawed and lovely and real people. I highly recommend watching it. It’s a delightful way of showing the time and space and grace of God entering into our humanity.

Yesterday was the 27th anniversary of my ordination. I’m am grateful.
It is my duty and delight to serve Jesus Christ as a called and ordained minister of Word and Sacrament in the ELCA. It’s been an amazing journey. One I hope to continue for many more years. Thank you for all of your support and prayers and encouragement. I feel incredibly blessed.
