WOW, what a powerful service on the things that can so easily trip up believers!
Sometimes the greatest danger isn't open rebellion, it's allowing pride, comparison, offense, or ambition to quietly take root in our hearts.
Scripture repeatedly calls us to guard our hearts and our mouths because what's taking root within us will eventually be revealed in how we speak and live.
David prayed:
"Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips." Psalm 141:3
Let's continually examine our own hearts, allowing the Holy Spirit to uproot anything that doesn't belong, and endeavor to keep our hearts pure before God and those around us. โค๏ธ
