What a wonderful day our church members had today celebrating (and feeding) our Mildred HS Seniors. There was so much to celebrate and anticipate as these Seniors move into their next chapter.

“Father, thank you for giving Your Son to protect us so dearly. Thank you for guiding our hearts and souls. Please help us offer Your enriching Love to others today.”

God tells us that His Spirit will speak to our Spirit.

This verse reminds us that God considers us His children. The Bible tells us that once we accept Christ into our lives, we are adopted and become heirs to His bloodline. (See also verse 17). When we have our Father, He prompts us on the inside by His Holy Spirit. A few months ago, I was trying to find something at a store, and I stopped at several places within a thirty or forty mile radius. I couldn't find what I needed no matter how hard I tried. After searching place after place, I felt defeated and was ready to give up. I started to drive home and suddenly I had this feeling in my gut to try one more time. I turned at the next exit and made a U-turn. Something inside of me wanted to give it one more try. When I got to the store, I walked to the section where the item would be and there it was. They only had one left which was exactly what I needed. There's no explanation for Gods help but I will tell you that I prayed all morning. I prayed while I was getting dressed and I prayed as I drove. When I saw the item, my heart leaped with Joy. I couldn't believe it. There it was! I knew instantly that our beautiful Father had helped me.
