What would change about your attitude at work if you genuinely saw your job as an opportunity given to you by God rather than an obligation you are stuck with?

Work can feel like a grind.

Deadlines pile up, recognition is rare, and some days it is hard to see the point.

It is easy to slip into a victim mindset, where work is something that happens to you rather than something you get to do.

But what if you flipped that perspective entirely?

God does not want you to drag yourself through your workday feeling stuck.

He wants you to see your job as an opportunity.

An opportunity to reflect something different.

To bring honesty, excellence, and genuine care into a space that often lacks all three.

Your job is a blessing.

It does not always feel like one, but it is.

God has given you a functioning mind, a capable body, and the ability to contribute something meaningful.

That is not small.

That is a gift worth taking seriously.

When you walk into work tomorrow, you are not just filling a role.

You are carrying something into that space.

Your faith, your character, and your integrity are on display.

That is not a burden.

It is an invitation to show people a different way of living and working.

In what areas of your life have you been keeping your faith separate from your everyday responsibilities?

Most of us have learned to wear different hats.

There is the version of you that shows up at work, the version at home, and the version at church on Sunday.

It feels normal, even necessary.

But what if that kind of compartmentalized living is actually keeping you from something better?

Paul's letter to the Colossians builds toward a simple but powerful idea: a life rooted in Christ is not meant to be divided up.

Christ is meant to permeate everything, including your job, your relationships, and your Monday mornings.

That means the way you show up at work is not separate from your faith.

It is an expression of it.

You are not just an employee working for a paycheck.

You are someone whose identity is anchored in Christ, and that changes everything about how you work.

This week, we are going to explore what it looks like to bring your whole self, your faith included, into the workplace.

It starts with recognizing who you are really working for.

You have one life.

And that one life is meant to be lived in Christ, not in pieces.
