Sometimes the best prayer isn't asking God to bless our plans, but asking Him to give us His plans. We can spend countless hours brainstorming, strategizing, and trying to figure out the perfect solution to our problems. But what if we paused all that mental energy and simply asked God, "What's Your idea?" This kind of prayer requires tremendous trust. It means being willing to let go of our own brilliant solutions and being open to God's direction, even if it looks different than what we expected. It means admitting that His thoughts are higher than our thoughts and His ways are better than our ways. When we pray for God's ideas instead of asking Him to rubber-stamp ours, we position ourselves to receive wisdom that goes beyond human understanding. We open ourselves up to solutions we never would have considered, opportunities we never would have seen, and paths we never would have taken. This doesn't mean we stop thinking or planning altogether. It means we hold our plans loosely and stay open to God's redirection. The most powerful prayer might just be: "God, what do You think we should do?"
