"TO MANY HYPOCRITES IN THE CHURCH
All who have been a part of the family of God for any amount of time have heard the charge that there are too many hypocrites in the church. This charge is often levied by one looking for an excuse to not be a Jesus follower, nor attend church.

Christians would agree with the accusation that there are too many people in the family of God who say one thing and do another; who are hearers of the Word and not doers of it; who claim Jesus as Savior but not as Lord over their lives. One person who lives this way is too many.

Closer examination will reveal, however, that there aren’t as many pretenders in the church as some think. Furthermore, the one bringing the charge of hypocrisy against the church isn’t told to follow the weak and immature believers in the church, but follow Christ. The new Christian or the one trying to shake a nonChristian attitude or habit is not our model, because we all come up short, so the person you talk about today. Your season could be tomorrow. That old saying what goes around comes around.

The next time you hear someone make the claim about too many hypocrites in the church, challenge them to look at the life of Jesus and see if they can point out flaws in Him. Follow Him, attend church, and worship because of Him. His life, His death, His burial, and His resurrection. Because none of us are perfect, some may be good liars, someone else will one day call you a hypocrite, however their focus should be Jesus and not you anyway.

Christians and non-Christians can be disappointed when we put up a mere human as our model, but Jesus never fails. It is important that you and I live in such a manner that the accusation of hypocrisy never gets directed toward us, however because of the human flesh continue to keep the faith, when others lost faith in you. The Lord didn't abandon you during this season.
So to all the critics who live so called perfect lives. Let’s be little Christians and point people to our true Role Model The Lord Jesus Christ.
Mankind has flaws by default, but Jesus blood 🩸 coverup all manner of sin. Keep walking you'll be met by a test down the highway.
Cling to the cross and keep sharing the gospel and showing up.
God also knows the sins of the critics who standing against you.
