Friday Behind the Scenes...let's chat about Sarah Shireman

Sarah has a heart for serving others and faithfully gives her time to several ministries at Clear Springs. She is the team leader for our two-year-old class, where she lovingly helps create a safe and welcoming place for some of the youngest members of our church family. She also serves in our Kids Sunday Connect Groups, helping children learn more about Jesus each week.

Her service doesn’t stop there! Sarah has volunteered with our after-school Good News Club at Gibbs Elementary, sharing the love of Jesus with children in our community. She also works behind the scenes with our Care & Clean Ministry, helping clean and prepare our church after special events.

Sarah, thank you for serving with such a willing heart and for making a difference in so many areas. We are blessed to have you as part of our church family!

Take a moment to look back at a few moments captured this past Sunday! Pastor Justin concluded his True Colors series, and the choir introduced us to the powerful new song, “I Know a Name.”

We also had the honor of praying over and commissioning our very own Brent Gibson as he begins his next role as Knox County Sheriff. During the evening service, Pastor Matt shared a challenging message on faith.

We are thankful for another wonderful day of worship with our church family.

What an honor it was to host the Oath of Office Ceremony for newly elected Knox County Sheriff Brent Gibson, along with the officers and employees of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

We are grateful for the men and women who have chosen to serve and protect our community. We pray for Sheriff Gibson and the entire Sheriff’s Office as they serve Knox County with courage, integrity, and dedication. May God bless them and their families as they begin this new chapter of service.
