At House Mountain we are a group of people united in the goal of worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and the relationship He has allowed between us and our Father in Heaven. al is to not simply sing, preach, pray, and leave, but to have genuine worship, genuine praise, and Biblical preaching that addresses the needs of God's people, and that through all this, that God is glorified. If your serious about wanting to know who God is, what He is saying, and how you can know Him, then we invite you to come to a church that shares your passion. HMBC is a place where you will meet people who truly love God and love one another. We invite you to "Come and See". At House Mountain we believe that God is serious about you. In return, we are serious about Him. When you feel overwhelmed.
Stop, and simply do the next right thing. Stop looking at the broad picture, and narrow your gaze to right now. What should I be doing right now? Then do that. It breaks the stalemate of being overwhelmed, and gets some momentum going. Simply ask the Lord. What can I do right now that would be good to do? Whatever that is, however trivial that seems, do that and repeat. You will be surprised at what the Lord brings to mind, and the progress you will make by these small, but productive, steps.

Before you hit your knees to pray for your next struggle make sure you thank the Lord for getting you through the last one.

Before you close out this day. Stop and look around. Do you have a spouse near you? Parents who love and support you? Friends you could call right now, and they would be glad to answer? If you have any of these, or a lot of these, you are rich in the things that matter. Take a moment and just thank the Lord for the good gifts He has given. Then go give someone a hug, tell them you love them, thank them for being there for you. Even if it’s just a text. You will sleep better.
