Last night brought another great time at Fairview Knox’s “Summer Nights” VBS! The joy was infectious and evident on every little face. We learned about Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection. Jesus loves us so much that he died on the cross for our sins and rose again three days later. That means Jesus is ALIVE, and when we choose to put our trust in Him, we are forgiven for our sins and will live with Him forevermore!

We’d love for your kiddos to join us tonight for another sweet and memorable experience learning about Jesus at “Summer Nights” VBS at Fairview Knox from 6:00 - 8:30 PM. Bring a friend! Drop-off starts at 5:30!

“God’s people must be different from the world. We should ask ourselves every day, who can I be kind to today? The Church is a table to invite people, and God’s got big plans; that’s why we are to pursue the broken.” Pastor Nathan Thomason

Yesterday, we were encouraged and blessed by Pastor Nathan Thomason’s message from 2 Samuel 9. We learned that David’s kindness to the lame Mephibosheth is a picture in the Bible of how God pursues the broken as He pursues us in our brokenness. Pastor Thomason said, “We all have a Mephibosheth in our lives. Who is yours?”

The Fairview Knox Summer Nights VBS Family Fun event will take place on the first night of our VBS, and it’s for the entire family! Join us on Sunday, June 14, for a great dinner and dessert with your family! Don’t just drop your kids off; this night is for moms and dads too, with free food, community, fellowship, games, and bounce houses! The fun starts at 6:00 PM, rain or shine.
