✨️What a beautiful and blessed week of Vacation Bible School! ✝️

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all of our adult and teen volunteers who generously shared their time, talents, and hearts to make VBS such a success. Your willingness to serve reflects Christ's love and helped create a joyful and faith-filled experience for our children.

Thank you as well to all the families who participated this year. Throughout the week, we were reminded of God's endless love, the gift of our saint friends, and the importance of watching for "God sightings!"

Ms. Yvonne is deeply grateful for everyone who helped make this week so special. Through your support, prayers, and service, you helped plant and water seeds of faith that will continue to grow in the hearts of our children.

May God bless each of you abundantly for your generosity and dedication. We are truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful parish family!

"Let all that you do be done in love." — 1 Corinthians 16:14

Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ & Consecration of the New Cathedral Altar

Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi and Mother Teresa Shelter are honored to once again welcome the Diocese of Corpus Christi’s Eucharistic Procession on Thursday, June 4, 2026. ✨

Following Mass at Corpus Christi Cathedral and the consecration of the new cathedral altar, the faithful will process through downtown Corpus Christi in prayer and worship as a public witness to the Real Presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist.

We are especially grateful that the procession will once again stop at Mother Teresa Shelter — a meaningful reminder that Christ is present not only in the Eucharist, but also in our call to serve our neighbors with compassion, dignity, and love.

We invite our community to join us for this beautiful celebration of faith, unity, and hope.

Did you know the Church traditionally celebrated an octave of Pentecost? For 8 days after the feast of Pentecost, we are invited to continue to prayer fervently for an outpouring of the Spirit, begging God to set us on fire, unafraid to boldly proclaim the love of Christ.

Join us in praying this ancient prayer to the Holy Spirit, the Veni Creator, for this outpouring of the Spirit (originally written around the late 700s).
