🗓️ THIS WEEK AT MPB 🗓️

We have a full week of events at MPB This Week! Some Highlights are⬇️❤️‍🔥⬇️❤️‍🔥:

Our Women in New Evangelization are starting their book study this week! Be sure to join them if you are looking for a good women’s group to join. They have a morning session and evening session both in the St. Maria Goretti Youth Center, books are available for purchase.

We also have our Real Men’s Group continuing their Rescue Project study!

Be sure to stop by and support our Most Precious Blood Catholic School BBQ Fundraiser. This fundraiser is to help us provide a greater learning experience and beautify our school facilities for our students.

We also have our High School and Middle School Youth Night Kick-Off! This is going to be an incredible opportunity for ALL students in grades 7th-12th Grade.

🗓️ THIS WEEK AT MPB 🗓️

We have a full week this week at MPB!

Some highlights are, First Friday Adoration in the St. Jude Chapel after morning daily mass and ends before evening Daily Mass. Also, the praying of the Divine Mercy Chaplet on the First Sunday of the Month at 3pm in the St. Jude Chapel.

Also be sure to note our upcoming events in these next few months. We have our Middle School and High School Youth Group Kick-Off on September 13th at 5pm in the Youth Center.

Our Parochial School is having a BBQ Fundraiser on September 12th, please help our school as they look to raise money for their beautification renovations.

| MEMORIAL OF ST. MONICA | AUGUST 27TH |

St. Monica is a saint that is most well known for her perseverance in prayer. Through her constant prayers, fasting, and interceding on behalf of her son for over 15 years. He went on to become a baptized Catholic, a priest, a bishop, and is now known as one of the greatest theologians in Church History, St. Augustine of Hippo.

The story is one that many parents feel deeply today. A child that has fallen away or abandoned their faith. It breaks the hearts of parents and grandparents to see their children and grandchildren abandon Christ and His Church. But St. Monica reminds us that our prayers are heard by a loving God, and His grace is abundant.

Are you a young Catholic Adult looking for something more?!?!

Our Diocesan Young Catholic Adult Group is going to WORLD YOUTH DAY 2027 in Seoul! This is an incredible pilgrimage opportunity.

For anyone interested, they will be hosting an informational session this weekend after 4:30pm Saturday Vigil Mass in the St. Juliana Family Center Room C1.

‼️VOLUNTEERS NEEDED‼️

Have you ever thought about volunteering at Church? Maybe you remember a Catechist you had as a child, or a youth leader who walked with you throughout high school and helped you find Christ. You can be that same instrument of love to someone else!

As a large parish our faith formation programs have tons of students, which means we need lots of volunteers. We have our K3-6th Grade Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program, Middle School Youth Group, High School Youth Group, and High School Confirmation Classes. These programs depend on volunteers for teachers, atrium assistants, small group leaders, hospitality, and many other volunteer opportunities.

These programs along with the parents in our parish, are the key to properly catechizing and developing disciples that become living witnesses of Jesus Christ and His Church.

If you are interested, come to our Volunteer Information meeting! This meeting is no strings attached, just come and find out what we are all about here in our MPB Faith Formation program. This Wednesday, August 26th at 6:30pm in the St. Maria Goretti Youth Center. Each of our faith formation leaders will be there to answer and go over all your questions.

Come help us continue to grow the younger generation in our parish. We need you and your willingness to serve.

🗓️THIS WEEK AT MPB🗓️

🙌🏽 We have our Women in New Evangelization that will be hosting a women’s social this Wednesday at 6:15pm in the St. Juliana Hall. There will be refreshments, fellowship, and a good evening to become a part of our women’s group at MPB.

✝️ This Wednesday we will be having a meeting for all those interested in serving in our faith formation ministries. This meeting is for returning volunteers, new volunteers, and for those that are still on the fence and would like more information.

👔 Our Real Men’s Group is continuing the Rescue project study, this is a great opportunity for the men of our parish to find a group of Catholic men striving to be living witnesses of Christ Jesus.

A few upcoming events to note are the School BBQ fundraiser on September 12th. Mark your calendars so that way we can support our parochial school. We also have our annual MPB BBQ competition that is officially judged through the IBCA.
