Sister Martha O’Gara, 75 years professed, and Sister Rosemary Lichnovsky, 60 years professed, renewed vows during the Jubilee Mass celebrating their anniversaries of commitment as sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament. Monsignor Michael Howell was celebrant and Sisters and family members rejoiced with them in the Mass and meal that followed.

A week ago today, Sister Margaret Willburn threw the ceremonial first pitch at the Hooks game. She did a great job! Jackie Jonckheere delivered a beautiful performance of the National Anthem before the game. It was a beautiful evening with the IWA community.

Creator God,

You created each of us in your image likeness. Thank you for all our different cultures, languages, and traditions that radiate your beauty in the world. Today, as we celebrate World Day for Cultural Diversity, we ask for your help in breaking down the barriers that divide us and for the grace to build bridges. Give us patience to learn from each other's diversity and the courage to create a welcoming place for all.

We ask this in the name of Jesus, the Incarnate Word. Amen.
