Grand Knight Roland Flores and Deputy Grand Knight David Cantu embodied the spirit of gratitude and unity, presenting a heartfelt gift to the Guadalupanas members after Palm Sunday mass. The donation from the Knights was in appreciation of the Guadalupanas' invaluable contributions to the Knights' charitable efforts and strengthening the bond of shared purpose and commitment to our church. Also present in the grotto for the moment were Fr. Stembler and Fr. Julian.

Blessed to have attended Christmas Eve mass with Bishop Mulvey. It was also great seeing our beautiful church packed to capacity with Sacred Heart and Cathedral parishioners. The mass was also live streamed and broadcasted!

Congratulations to our former Asst. Pastor, Fr. Francis Makut, who joined our Knights of Columbus council #2710 tonight at the 1st-3rd degree exemplification at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Portland. Fr. Francis is now the pastor at both Holy Cross and Our Lady by the Sea Catholic churches. Afterwards, we celebrated the event with dinner at El Mariachi restaurant.

Council #2710 put in some serious work today 😅 ... thank you brothers for tearing down the wall! The KCs knocked down and the wall in the office/kitchen area in the old rectory. The space creates more room for future gatherings, meetings and events. The brothers started early this morning 🌄 and by noon 🌞 the new space had been created! Fr. Stembler also stopped by and lent a hand, as well as giving the council a special blessing 🙏🏻 for their continued work. Thank you to all the brothers that helped today and God bless! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Fr. Julian, who is our Spanish mass celebrant Sunday mornings, recently celebrated his birthday. The Guadalupanas, Prayer Group and Knights of Columbus all pitched to throw Fr. Julian a birthday bash in the church grotto. Felizes to Fr. Julian and God bless! 🙏🏻🥳🎉🎂
