Updated Mass Schedule at Sacred Heart Church 📣

We are excited to share our updated Mass schedule, which takes effect this weekend! We invite all parishioners, families, and visitors to join us!

⛪ Beginning today, Friday, we will celebrate Mass at 6:00 PM. This will be our first Friday evening Mass under the new schedule.

Sacred Heart parishioners and community members are invited to join us as we continue the celebration of the Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday, June 12, 2026.

The Rosary will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by a bilingual Mass at 6:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Corpus Christi. A small reception will be held afterward.

We hope you will join us for this special evening of prayer, worship, and fellowship as we gather in faith and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Funeral arrangements for Bishop Emeritus Rene Henry Gracida will take place at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, Pro-Cathedral. Military Honors will follow immediately after the Funeral Mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charitable organization particularly dear to Bishop Gracida:

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bishop Emeritus René Henry Gracida. He served as the fifth Bishop of the Diocese of Corpus Christi from 1983 until 1997. We are deeply grateful for his faithful service as our shepherd of 14 years. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later time.
