Corpus Christi Cathedral is the mother church and seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Corpus Christi. The Cathedral— designed by architect Charles Monnot— was completed dedicated on July 17, 1940. Beginning May 26, 2025, Corpus Christi Cathedral will be temporarily closed for renovations. We anticipate the closure to last to December 2025 or early 2026. We’re getting ready to welcome our students! 📚✝️

The Corpus Christi Cathedral catechists spent the afternoon preparing for the upcoming Religious Education year—learning together, sharing ideas, and reflecting on their important vocation of helping our children grow in faith.

We were especially grateful to welcome Diocesan Vocations Director Father James Vasquez, who spoke to our catechists about vocation, discernment, and helping young people listen for God’s call in their lives.

There is so much love, prayer, and preparation going into the year ahead, and we can’t wait to see our students!
