Corpus Christi Cathedral is the mother church and seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Corpus Christi. The Cathedral— designed by architect Charles Monnot— was completed dedicated on July 17, 1940. Beginning May 26, 2025, Corpus Christi Cathedral will be temporarily closed for renovations. We anticipate the closure to last to December 2025 or early 2026.
