You remember when they told Jesus that the friend He loved was sick?

"So, when He heard that Lazarus was ill, He stayed two days longer in the place where He was." — John 11:6

- Where He was, they had just tried to stone Him. Yet Jesus stayed because He loved them.

- The disciples were calculating the risk (Thomas even said, "Let us also go, that we may die with Him"), but Christ was calculating the glory.

When He finally arrived, He looked past the impossibility of Lazarus having been dead for four days and prayed, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. I knew that You always hear Me."

Worship is trusting God's purpose when His timing makes no sense.

Sometimes God delays not because He is absent, but because He is preparing to reveal His glory in a greater way than we can imagine. 🕊

Happy Monday! 🙌🏼

“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”
Matthew 7:24-27

This week let’s remember our Lord prepared us for the trials of this world. Not only that, but He is walking along with us every step of the way.

Let’s spend this week loving, encouraging and caring for those who may be in their own trial. Pointing them to the rock, our firm foundation!

Love you all! Have a great week everyone! 🙏🏼

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
‭‭John‬ ‭16‬:‭33‬ ‭

Happy Monday Church! We hope you had a wonderful weekend, and an amazing Mother’s Day! 🙌🏼

Did you miss yesterday’s service? 🧐 Fear not! Follow us here on our page, YouTube, or our Apple and Spotify Podcasts to catch up!

Join us as we conclude chapter 9 in the book of Acts and hear about the boldness of Peter in telling a paralyzed man to walk and his practice in the presence as he prays for a dead girl to be raised. 🔥

Let us remember this week that the Lord prepared us for the many trials and tribulations this world will throw our way. Let it throw us against Him, the Rock of Ages and refine us so that we may become more and more like Christ as we grow in Him.

In the end, we can rejoice and give praise for these things because we are counted worthy as suffering for Christ! Praise the Lord! Let us serve the Kingdom of God and bring Him all the glory! 🙏🏼

“Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭

“But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!””
Romans 10:14-15

What is the good news? Salvation is for everyone! If you openly declare Jesus is Lord and have faith, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord for the love and mercy He showed us on the cross!

Not only that but He’s coming back for us! 🙌🏼

“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. So encourage each other with these words.”
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

Now THAT’S good news! And with both of these verses we are called to spread that good news to others, encouraging them, and uplifting one another with the gospel.

Letting the Holy Spirit guide our words, being bold in our faith, telling others of the greatest gift that has ever been given.

This week we’d love to challenge you! Who knows maybe the Lord has already set it on your heart and you just need this tiny push in the right direction.

Will you share the good news this week?

“But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel. For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name.””
Acts 9:15-16

Happy Monday Pursuit City Church! In case you missed yesterday’s service, don’t forget you can catch up here on our page, YouTube or our Apple and Spotify Podcasts!

Don’t start off your week without tuning in and catching up with us on our series “Wildfire” 🔥 Follow along as we go through the entire book of Acts! 🙌🏼

In the following days, let’s remember that God has called YOU for a purpose, He has good plans for your life, and He wants to work through you. You just have to say “yes”.

Let us be His chosen instrument, leading, loving and supporting others in knowing Him and growing their relationship with Him! 🙌🏼

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
Ephesians 2:8-10

📢Worship Wednesday

God isn’t looking for performance — He’s looking for true worshipers. 🙏🏾🙌🏽

When our hearts align with our lives, worship becomes more than a moment in church…it becomes a way of living.

“God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
— John 4:24

“Present your bodies as a living sacrifice… this is your spiritual worship.”
— Romans 12:1

Pursuit City Church! Let’s take a moment to recognize the act of faith, the obedience, and courage that our new brothers and sisters in Christ have made!

The commitment to follow our Lord and Savior all the days of their lives! Congratulations to those of you who have made this step! It’s only the beginning! We are all so excited to walk along this path with you! 🙌🏼

“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ ‭
