Prison ministry canceled today due to Covid cases in the unit. Pray for the staff and the inmates.

The flags represent the freedom we have as citizens of this great state and country. The wire represents the loss of freedom as a consequence of bad choices we make. One thing is true, God loves those that are free and those that are bound. I thank God for the open door to minister to those in the Nueces County Jail.

The Nueces County Jail is at 100% capacity (1,100 inmates). More than half the population are repeat offenders. Starting this Friday 7/9, God has opened the door for us to go in. We are taking in His Word, and He will transform lives.

Because a great door for effective work has opened to us, and there are many who oppose us. 1 Corinthians 16:9

Prisons across the country are on lockdown due to COVID-19, and Bibles are one of the only ways to still get hope behind prison bars. And nothing provides hope like the living Word of God.

49 years ago in May 1972 I had just completed my junior year at AHS. One of my teachers was Ernestine Glossbrenner. Today Brother Rene and I went in to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
