Our Lady of the Rosary held a private spiritual retreat for the families this past weekend at our school. We enjoyed lunch together and were blessed to have Father Stembler and Sister Rosario join us. Both gave wonderful and inspirational talks. The food the delicious, the decorations were beautiful, and the family time of sharing was very special. The PTO sponsored a gift bag for all participants. It was a truly representative day of so many talents coming together. The Dominican Sisters pray bountiful blessings on you and your families and hope this Lenten season is a time of drawing ever closer to our Lord.

The Faithful remember the life of a great man and mourn his recent passing. Pope Benedict XVI, in words recounted by the Corpus Christi Bishop Michael Mulvey recently, had the mind of a genius and the soul of a child. Pope Benedict was an important Catholic scholar, theologian and man of great faith. Our Lady of the Rosary Learning Center encourages anyone who sees this post to take a moment to find his writings and allow them to inspire you to a greater love for our Lord.

Happy 2023 from Our Lady of the Rosary! The Dominican sisters send prayers for a blessed new year to all of the families of our school. May you and your children grow in the fruits of the Holy Spirit now and forever. Posting photos that were never shared in the busy shuffle of the last few weeks of 2022. May these photos be a happy reminder how much all of you are a wonderful part of the sister's mission to share the gospel and to give thanks always.
