Con profundo dolor y pesar en nuestros corazones, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestro pastor fundador, el Pastor José Luis Flores, quien partió a la presencia del Señor el 19 de mayo de 2026.

El Pastor Flores dedicó su vida a predicar el Evangelio, amar a las personas y llevar esperanza a quienes se sentían perdidos y olvidados. Su testimonio de transformación, fe y redención impactó innumerables vidas en Corpus Christi y más allá.

Junto a su amada esposa, Lucy Flores, el Pastor Flores fundó y edificó Victory Life Fellowship y Outcry in the Barrio en Corpus Christi. Unidos en propósito y ministerio, dedicaron sus vidas a servir a la comunidad con compasión, fe y un corazón apasionado por alcanzar a las personas dondequiera que estuvieran. Aunque Lucy partió a la presencia del Señor el año pasado, el legado que construyeron juntos continuará impactando generaciones.

Su pasión era simple pero poderosa: “Las personas le importan a Dios, y por eso nos importan a nosotros.”

Aunque hoy lloramos esta gran pérdida, nos gozamos sabiendo que el Pastor Flores ahora está reunido con su amada Lucy y en la presencia del Salvador a quien sirvió y predicó fielmente durante tantos años.

Pedimos sus oraciones por la familia Flores, nuestra familia de la iglesia y todos aquellos que lo amaron durante este tiempo difícil.

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our founding pastor, Pastor Jose Luis Flores, who went home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2026.

Pastor Flores dedicated his life to sharing the Gospel, loving people, and bringing hope to those who felt lost and forgotten. His testimony of transformation, faith, and redemption impacted countless lives throughout Corpus Christi and beyond.

Together with his beloved wife, Lucy Flores, Pastor Flores faithfully built and founded Victory Life Fellowship and Outcry in the Barrio in Corpus Christi. Side by side, they devoted their lives to serving the community with compassion, bold faith, and a heart for reaching people where they were. Though Lucy went home to be with the Lord last year, their shared legacy of ministry, restoration, and hope will continue to impact generations to come.

His passion was simple and powerful: “People matter to God, so they matter to us.”

While our hearts mourn this tremendous loss, we rejoice knowing Pastor Flores is now reunited with his beloved Lucy and in the presence of the Savior he faithfully served and preached about for so many years.

Please keep the Flores family, our church family, and all who loved him in your prayers during this difficult time.
