Thank you, Catholic Daughters, for hosting such a beautiful Bonfire on the Beach! 🙏🔥 Truly a blessing of faith, fellowship, and prayer by the shore. Ending the evening with the rosary together was the perfect way to center our hearts on Christ. Already looking forward to next year!

The future of service starts at the altar! 🕯️✨
This morning at our monthly Knights of Columbus Mass, we were blessed to witness the installation of our parish’s newest altar servers.
As Knights, we are called to support our priests, our parish, and especially the next generation of faithful Catholic leaders. Today, we proudly celebrate these inspiring young men and women who answered the call and said "yes" to serving Christ at His altar.
We are so proud of each and every one of you—and deeply grateful for your dedication and service to our church family.
Please join Council 8170 in congratulating these fine young servers and keeping them in your prayers as they begin this holy ministry! 🙏

Please take a few moments and pray for the repose of the soul of Sister Rosario L. Reyes.

Sister Rosario lived what the prophet Micah so eloquently wrote about what God requires of us — “Seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.”
Thus, our dear Sr. Rosario “walked humbly with her God, sought justice and loved mercy.” She lived this every day.

Thank you, Bishop Aviles, for officiating the Mass.
The rosary beforehand was a beautiful witness of faith — one voice in prayer for Sister Rosario.

May she enter into God’sheavenly kingdom, wearing her “crown prepared by her Beloved for all eternity.”

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May Sister Rosario rest in peace. Amen.

Fr. Joseph is up and running! 🏃‍♂️🙏

When brother Knights heard Virginia had generously bought a treadmill for Father Joseph but needed assembly and delivery, several answered the call. Mike, Henry, and Glen spent their Saturday assembling and delivering it to the rectory at St Teresa.

Fr. Joseph is already putting it to good use! This is what Knights do — Faith in Action. We hear of a need, we fill that need, we do it together.

Thank you to Virginia for your generosity, and to Mike, Henry, and Glen for the sweat equity. Prayers for Fr. Joseph as he keeps up the pace!

The Oesterling’s

Nick, this was your very first Knights breakfast on the cooking line, and you jumped right in! Bacon, sausage, AND eggs all going at once - and you were smiling through the whole rush like you were having a blast.
You worked hard, fit in with Team 2 like you’ve been doing this for years, and never once slowed down. That’s Fraternity in action.
What a blessing it is to have Nick Oesterling as the newest addition to Team 2!
Even more impressive: Nick and his family were also named Family of the Month for April, just one month after joining our council. Talk about hitting the ground running!
Thank you, Nick, and thank you to your family for your beautiful witness of faith at home and your service to St. Paul’s. From the breakfast line to parish events, you’ve shown what Charity and Unity look like.
Council 8170 is stronger because of you.

I want to take a few minutes to thank TEAM 2 for the outstanding breakfast they served before our Officer Installation and after Rosary and Mass.
MAX, you did a fantastic job. Those waffles were perfect — golden, crisp, and you kept them coming hot for a full house. That’s not easy, and you made it look that way.
And MAX isn’t even a Knight... yet, and if this morning is any sign, MAX is well on his way to being a future Grand Knight. Thank you, Max, for stepping up and serving like a Knight.
NICK, this was your first Knights breakfast on the cooking line, and you jumped right in. You worked hard on bacon, sausage, and eggs, fit in with the team like you’ve been here for years, and never slowed down. That’s what Fraternity looks like.
DOUG, thank you for the fruit salad. You’ve got real skill cutting up all that fruit into a beautiful, delicious spread. And just like Doug, you showed up early to help prepare, then left to take Holy Communion to the Homebound with your loving wife Sue. Taking the Body of Christ to parishioners who can’t make it to Mass — that’s Charity and service in the purest form.
FRANK, you’re not even on Team 2, but when you heard I was shorthanded you showed up and volunteered. That’s Brotherhood. Thank you for stepping into the gap.
VIRGIL, after some trial and error, you figured out the coffee machines and kept the coffee flowing. On a Sunday morning, there is no greater ministry than hot coffee.
To FATHER JOHN, thank you for filling in for Father Tomasz during his absence. We’re grateful for your presence at Mass and at breakfast with us. As well as officiating our Officer Installation; your prayers were a true blessing.
And a special welcome to JUAN. We’re glad you joined us this morning. Juan will be our newest Knight at our next Exemplification — make sure you introduce yourself and shake his hand.
GRAND KNIGHT, DANNY, you have exemplified how to be a servant leader and a caretaker in the vineyard of the Lord. You don’t ask anyone to do what you wouldn’t do yourself. You show up early, you stay late, and you lead with humility, prayer, and a heart for our parish.
Under your leadership, Council 8170 isn’t just holding meetings — we’re building stairs for Alice, feeding the hungry, honoring our priests, and raising up the next generation of Knights.
Thank you for tending this part of the Lord’s vineyard so faithfully. We are better brothers, better Catholics, and better men because of your example.
