School is out, the kids are home, and the days may already feel louder, busier, and a little less structured. But right in the middle of the snacks, the swimsuits, the pizza, the popsicles, and the summer smiles, Jesus is still present.

This season does not have to be perfect to be blessed.

Mamas, grandmothers, aunties, and women pouring into children this summer, remember this: God gives grace for every long day, patience for every hard moment, and joy in the simple memories we sometimes rush past.

Let this summer be filled with laughter, love, prayer, and the peace of Jesus in our homes. The kids may be out of school, but God is still teaching us, leading us, and reminding us that the little moments matter.

Jesus, help us slow down, love well, and keep You at the center of our summer. Amen.

“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10

At salvation, we were given a new position in Christ. When we were born again, we were made a new person in Christ. When we were saved, we received a new Christ-like nature and were given a new standing in Him. We became a new creation in Christ, having been forgiven of our sin, imputed with His righteousness, and received the indwelling life of Christ within our hearts. Paul answers the question of whether Christians should continue to sin. His answer is emphatic: we absolutely should not. First, when we came to God by faith in Jesus, we died to sin. We are not slaves to it any more. Second, what did living for sin ever get us? It led to shame and death. The righteousness given to us for free by God in Christ Jesus leads to becoming like Jesus and to eternal life. We should serve righteousness instead of sin.

May we never lose the innocence that allows us to see God’s majesty in the world around us.

The beauty of creation isn’t just found in the vastness of the land, the water, or the sky, it is found in a heart that still pauses to notice it.

Perhaps that’s why Jesus called us to have childlike faith.

To wonder.
To trust.
To stand in awe of the Creator whose fingerprints are woven throughout His creation.

“The earth is filled with His unfailing love.” Psalm 33:5

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord” -1 Cor 15:58

We are all on a path with peaks and valleys. Whether we are in a peak or valley, we have been given the work of ministry. What is ministry? Service to God and service to other people.

Paul understood peaks and valleys and yet he did not waver from a a life lead by truth.

He had many difficulties:
-Corinthian church questioning His motives
-Defending his apostleship
-Imprisonment
-Shipwrecked 3 times, beatings, pelted with stones

He Suffered.

Despite the difficulties, His work of ministry did not change.

Paul still preached the gospel:
-Humbly
-Honestly: no dilution, no watering it down
-Openly
-Before God

He not only preached it, but he lived it! All the time….in every season. He was STEADFAST. Spiritually grounded, loyal, unwavering in faith and purpose. Firm, immovable, morally fixed, and faithful.

One of many instances I have thought on recently is in the book of Acts:
-Paul and Silas had been beat.
-Put into prison.
-He didn’t put his ministry on hold.
-He didn’t say “as soon as I get of here” or as soon as I am over this season, then I’ll pick ministry back up.
-He didn’t say, I’m not going to share the gospel to those guards because they have hurt me and are holding me here.
-No….INSTEAD He was leading guards to Christ while in prison.

Nothing stood in the way of the call God put on His life.

2Tim 2:15
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

To accurately handle the word of truth, it must move from our hands into our hearts. We must allow it to become a part of us. It should shape our thinking and actions.

Let us take an inventory of our lives, sit humbly with our king, and ask for His help to remain STEADFAST in every season and in all circumstances as David did.

Psalms 119:5-6
“Oh, that my ways were directed to KEEP (steadfast) Your statues! Then I would not be ashamed.”

Man's way, and the way of every single religion and sect on earth (other than biblical Christianity), tries to get to God through good works, by doing things to please Him and hoping that the good deeds outweigh the bad things. But this is hopeless. This is another gospel and everyone who attempts to reach God by this route will be condemned.
God's way is by faith, and salvation is a free and irreversible gift of God's grace to man. Salvation is only given to those that have faith in the Messiah; the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God.
Nicodemus was told: "Unless a person is born from above he cannot see the kingdom of God." You must change your life completely, be different for The Lord.
"Born Again" (or Born from Above): The original Greek word used here, aōthen, implies being born "from above" or "anew". It refers to a spiritual rebirth—a transformation initiated by the Holy Spirit, not human effort.

"For You have been my help,
And in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy. My soul clings to You;
Your right hand upholds me"
Psalm 63:7-8 NASB 1995

Now that school is coming to an end, we found some of us mommy's pushing and pressing through to see the finish line for our babies. We were exhausted, dragging, probably exceeded our amount of caffeine some days, but we did it.

*David gives thanks and praise for God’s faithfulness many times when God had been his help.

This is why i love this verse, because as we had those silent conversations with Jesus he was our help when we thought we couldn't get through the day.

No matter what season we are in, we can lean on Jesus during those good or difficult times.
We can continue to Praise him and to know that we can Trust him.
Our Hope, Help, and Strength comes from him.
So let’s run with confidence to Jesus that is higher than us and marinate in His Word, Love, Grace and Strength.
We continue to give him All Praise and Glory each day. Even on those tough days.
