Remember the Easter we were all home? I’m so thankful for this morning’s time of worship in and with our church. Easter might be my favorite holiday. The miracle of the resurrection! If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation the old has gone the new has come! All of the new things that spring brings reminds me of the new creation God has made in us through his son’s death and resurrection!

I pray that your family had time this week to pray, reflect, and celebrate. For those of you who asked about this video, here it is. Watch it with your littles and be reminded of what today is all about.

This Sunday is Mother’s Day. In each service, we will take time to honor and celebrate all women at Yorktown and present each with a gift at the end of the service. To help make this day even more special, we want families to be together. Because of that, this Sunday will be a Family Worship Sunday. That means there will be no Adult Bible Fellowships, Youth Bible Fellowships, or Kid’s Bible Fellowships/Kid’s Church. There will still be preschool ministry activities during each service. We look forward to celebrating this special day together this Sunday at 9:00am and 10:30am.
