In the July NLBM newsletter Recardo Reyes wrote about the efforts currently underway in the Rio Grande Valley (RGV). We will continue to meet
with congregational leaders. It is exciting to work with brethren whose hearts desire is to reach the lost and make disciples. It is humbling
to think that God is opening doors to these efforts in the Valley. We continue to be impressed and inspired by the family of God working in the RGV.

Please pray for the efforts taking place through the Bridge Avenue Church of Christ in Weslaco. They will host a meeting in early October and explore how they can engage men and women who struggle with addiction and try to re-enter society as they come out of jails and prisons. Other congregation leaders in RGV communities are also exploring these possibilities. Please pray that we can be a resource and encourage their efforts.

Anger Management is a 13 week course offered by New Life Behavior Ministries. An impromptu group has been meeting during bible class time at Kings Crossing Church of Christ, all because of one man's need for this class to meet a requirement of his parole. God moves when we reach for Him (towards us). Thank you Jesus for your steadfast love and for putting the right people in the right place at the right time!

Only God can do these things! Praise King Jesus for the seeds being planted at Garza West.
We recently spent a weekend teaching a Bible-based, Christ-centered recovery program designed to help individuals overcome addictions through spiritual transformation, rather than solely focusing on physical dependency. We emphasize that addiction is a form of spiritual bo***ge that can be broken through faith, repentance, and support, using a 12-step approach.
