We are sad to announce that on June 3rd, Monsignor Robert Ecker entered into eternal life.

Just shy of celebrating his 75th anniversary of priestly ordination, Monsignor Ecker lived a life of extraordinary faith, service, and dedication. He faithfully served both the Church and our country, including 29 years as a chaplain in the United States Navy and as a Vietnam veteran.

A devoted shepherd, he brought Christ’s presence to countless lives—through the sacraments, his kindness, wisdom, sense of humor and his compassionate care for all who confided in him.

“Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your master.” (Matthew 25:23)

Please join us in praying for the repose of his soul and in gratitude for his remarkable life of service.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

📸 A walk down memory lane!

As Fr. Mike prepares for his move, we enjoyed looking back at some special moments shared through the years. This photo of six of our priests ( Fr. Sheahan, Msgr. Ecker, Msgr. O’Sullivan, Fr. Mike, Fr. Gil & Fr. Gnall ) and Deacon Frank Osgood, reminds us of the many faithful servants who have helped guide, support, and strengthen our parish community.

We are grateful for their dedication, friendship, and ministry, and we continue to pray for Fr. Mike as he begins this new chapter. May God bless him abundantly in the journey ahead.

Today we celebrate Pentecost, the day the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles and the birthday of the Catholic Church.

Pentecost reminds us that Christianity is not meant to be lived alone or by our own strength. The Holy Spirit guides us, strengthens us, convicts us, and leads us closer to Christ. The same Spirit who transformed the saints desires to transform us too.

Come, Holy Spirit. Renew our hearts, renew Your Church, and help us become the saints we are called to be.
