“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled” (Matthew 5:6).
When our desire in life is a thirst & hunger for God, we will be completely satisfied. But when there is no thirst or hunger for the presence of God, it is an indicator that something is wrong spiritually in our life. ~ SELAH
Question is: Do You Hunger and Thirst for Righteousness?
Do you remember John 4:14 Jesus was at the well and told the adulterous woman about everlasting water? This woman’s life exemplified there was something wrong spiritually. The woman had been married five times and was living with a man who was not her husband, yet Jesus did not condemn her. He spoke to her about her thirst (John 4:14). The beauty of this passage is, When she drank of the living water she was satisfied.
God will quench the thirst of those who desire him. ~ SELAH

Psalm 42:1-2: As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?
Psalm 63:1: O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.
