We envision an ever-extending Table infused with belonging and the transformative presence of God’s love. We follow the example of Jesus whose Table always reflects a greater diversity and inclusivity than we can imagine. We believe God’s love

is unconditional, immeasurable, and calls us to practice community. Grounded in the radical inclusiveness of Jesus' love, Inclusion Community seeks to be a place of belonging for people of all ages, socio-economic statuses, political affiliations, gender identities, sexual orientations, races, ethnicities, citizenship statuses, and abilities. We are a Reconciling Ministry and believe all persons hold sacred worth. We celebrate the LGBTQ+ community as beloved and beautiful. We give thanks for the sacred worth, gifts, dignity, story, and calling each person brings to the community. Because we unapologetically believe that all persons who identify as LGBTQ+ are made in the image of God, we longingly strive for the day when the UMC will celebrate the ordination and marriage of LGBTQ+ persons. Sunday August 30th at 9:00am at the Hut

Sometimes the deepest prayers and reflections don’t use words at all, they live in color, texture, and quiet intention.

Join us this Sunday for Sacred Art Sunday where we will be transforming the Hut into a safe space of creativity and calm. Come wander through various art stations including rock painting and more. Remember there is no right or wrong way to make art, you can simply let your hands move and create while gentle music and conversation fills the room. There is a place at the table and on the canvas of your choice for you.

Because of the hands-on, shared nature of this Gathering, there will be no online option this Sunday. We would love to share space and create alongside you in person!

The Gathering: Sunday August 23rd at 9:00am at the Hut

Join us this Sunday for Enneagram Applied for Living!

We’ll move beyond the basics and dive into how the Enneagram shows up in our daily lives, relationships, and habits.

We’ll break into small groups for guided discussions using provided reflection prompts, then gather back as a whole group to debrief and share insights. If you have your Enneagram book we have been using throughout this series, please bring it along! Whether you’re deep into your type or just starting out, there’s a seat for you at the table.

***No Gathering Sunday August 16th. Join us at the Hut at 10:30am to carpool to the Charlotte Pride Parade!

This year we will pass out water and ice pops with other United Methodist Churches to Pride attendees. The parade is 1-4pm. If you would like to join, there is a group meeting at the Hut at 10:30am to load up supplies and head to Charlotte.
