The self-named Kool Kids Bell Choir played K*m Ba Yah in worship on the 11th. The ringers are currently resting but will pick back up with rehearsals at 8:20am on Sunday mornings in November. They'll be working on a Christmas song. If you couldn't meet in Sept/Oct but would like to give it a try in Nov/Dec, let Ms. Ashley know! New ringers are welcome! No prior experience necessary! Contact the church office for Ms. Ashley's contact info or find her on a Sunday!

Pastor Lisa spent three days at Lutheridge last week for the NC Synod Fall Convocation gathering with rostered ministers from around the synod under the theme of "Rooted & Rising: Stories of Justice, Hope, and Community." It was a meaningful time of connection, worship, and renewal ... including the catching up with ministry partners like LSC and LDR and having the rostered minister contingent of the Camp Agape Board of Directors all in one spot between meetings.

Today is Indigenous Peoples' Day!

"Give thanks for Indigenous communities that have lived in the Americas and other parts of the world for thousands of years. Pray that we will not overlook them in our telling of history and that we will honor our church’s commitment to repentance, reconciliation, healing, respect and unity as children of God." —Prayer Ventures

The weekend weather forecasts continue to not work in our favor for seeing your furry, fuzzy, finny, and hard-shelled friends here at church and we are beginning to impatiently wait to see them yet another week! Keep them home and cozy with nice dry paws this weekend and we'll hope to see them NEXT Sunday on October 18th.

October 11th 9am worship will take place in the sanctuary (no animals).
