"We must always seek to be in good health, because a healthy body is good for everything, withstands everything, and responds at all moments so that we can demand from it our material and spiritual work." —Samael Aun Weor, Sacred Rites for Rejuvenation

The health and vitality of the physical body is essential for anyone who aspires towards the awakening of the consciousness.

How is your health? Are you taking good care of your body?

Question: Master, is it true that the egos, as they dissolve, become smaller and smaller, more and more "shorties", and that they leave their horrendous shape, they become beautiful, so to speak?

Answer: That's how it is! The 'I's have various forms. There are monstrous “I's” that seem like true horrifying beasts; any clairvoyant who observes them is horrified... You have seen that newborn children are usually frightened, that they suddenly end up screaming for no reason. Well, it is because they see certain of their own "I's" that pass near the cradle, and this causes them fear. If that happens to newborn children, imagine what happen to the people who live in the abyss? They have before their eyes their own “I’s”, thus, they suffer unspeakable fears and horrors. But, as one goes, here in the world, dissolving the “I's”, these egos become smaller.

Suppose we want to dissolve an "I" of envy; at first it will be a horrendous monster, but as we work on it, and it loses volume, it becomes smaller and more beautiful; finally it takes the form of a child and the child gets smaller and smaller, until finally it disintegrates, already converted into cosmic dust. Until what Jesus Christ said is fulfilled:

“Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” – Matthew 18: 3
Thus, we need to disintegrate all the "I's" so that the Essence remains free and express in us with all its beauty, with all that naturalness, with all that spontaneity...

I have already told you that we have more internal than external senses, and that we must begin by using, developing that sense of self-observation; as we use it, other internal senses are also developing, that's obvious... So, my dear brothers and sisters, we need to work intensely on ourselves. Does any other brother or sister want to ask something? - Samael Aun Weor

♌ Leo
From July 23 to August 22, the constellation of Leo invites us to work consciously with the heart through meditation. Inner meditation consists of three phases:

1. Perfect Concentration
2. Perfect Meditation
3. Perfect Samadhi

Concentrate the mind on the Inner Master. Meditate on the majesty of the Inner Master. Speak with the Inner Master until you hear the Voice of the Silence. This is called Samadhi.

The incense associated with Leo is frankincense, traditionally used to create an atmosphere of reverence and support meditation.

What is real freedom?
We often think of freedom as something external—the ability to go where we want, do what we want, or live without restrictions. Yet even with all of those things, we can still be imprisoned by fear, anger, pride, desires, anxiety, and unconscious habits.

One reason is that we live mechanically, allowing our thoughts, emotions, and impulses—our "three brains"—to control us instead of consciously directing them. When our mind races, our emotions react, and our impulses take over, we are not truly free.

Real freedom begins with self-observation.

As we become conscious of our thoughts, feelings, and actions without identifying with them, we begin to loosen the psychological chains that bind us. Little by little, our consciousness awakens, our inner balance grows, and we discover a freedom that no external circumstance can give—or take away.

True freedom is not simply the absence of outer limitations. It is the liberation of consciousness from the inner forces that keep us asleep.

Knowing ourselves, seeing what we are inside, we shall discover the door to authentic freedom.

Rather than avoiding our struggles, meditation teaches us to understand them—and through understanding, find freedom.
