Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Worship services are Sundays at 8:30 and 11:00 AM. The 11:00 AM service is broadcast online. Mt. As John Wesley said, "God loves you; therefore love and obey him.

🎶 There’s a place for YOU in Music Ministry at Mt. Zion! 🎶

Summer is here, and it’s a wonderful time to get involved in sharing the gift of music and worship!

🎵 Chancel Choir is taking a break from Wednesday rehearsals through the summer, but we’ll continue gathering on Sunday mornings at 10:40 AM to rehearse familiar hymns for worship. This is the perfect opportunity to visit, sing with us, and see if choir ministry is right for you—no robes, no pressure, just joyful music and fellowship!

🎸 Our Praise Team is excited to be leading worship from the front of the sanctuary at our 8:30 AM service. With our new electric piano, drums, guitar, and talented singers, we’re growing and would love to welcome additional musicians and vocalists to the team.

🎤 The Autumn Daze Singers will share music with residents at Autumn Care on August 10. If you enjoy singing and serving others, we would love for you to join us. Lyrics are provided, and the program lasts about 30 minutes.

🙏 Please keep our Vacation Bible School team and children in your prayers June 22–25 as we share God’s love through music, crafts, activities, and faith-filled fun.

Join us this Sunday as we gather for worship and reflect on Matthew 9, where Jesus reveals the beauty and importance of mercy. As we continue to follow Christ's example, we'll consider how mercy shapes our relationships, our faith, and our witness in the world. 💙

🎶 Music Preview:

Woody and Shelley will begin both services with a medley of favorite hymns presented as a four-hand piano duet.

At 8:30 AM, the Praise Team will lead special music, while at 11:00 AM, the Chancel Choir will share the anthem from the choir loft, accompanied by Candice Sloan.

Together, we'll sing the beloved hymns "Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing" and "Love Divine, All Loves Excelling." 🙌

At both services, we will also share a special Benediction Response as we offer our prayers, gratitude, and blessings to our pastors as they prepare for their future appointments.
