Last night I was praying and like I do nightly, I was praying for my husband and as I prayed, the Holy Spirit spoke to me that He is raising up men of fire.
I saw men removing the cloak of apathy and the passivity and putting on the mantle of fire, and as they stepped into their God ordained roles, I saw the wall that has blocked revival from sweeping across this Nation fall.
There has been too much silence in the sons of God.
Too much fear, too much comfort, and too many distractions have taken the attention of the ones who have been appointed to lead in this hour.
But, there is a spiritual awakening happening in men.
Heaven is issuing a summons, a clarion call, for the men of God to rise in power and authority to dismantle and to overturn the schemes of the enemy that have tried to muzzle a generation who were created to carry the presence of the Lord back to the house of God.
We have gone through a season where wolves in sheep’s clothing have been revealed, we have seen once mighty men of God fall and we have watched as moral failures have been brought to light.
But, as darkness was being exposed, God has been preparing His battle axes in secret.
He brought the forerunners of this hour to the threshing floor before He released them to the frontlines.
He has been cultivating and refining a generation of men, developing a character within them them would be able withstand the anointing He has placing upon them.
He has been creating a coalition of men who refuse to bow to culture, compromise or comfort and who wont be lulled to sleep by Delilah or intimidated by Jezebel.
I believe that we are living in a time where we are going to begin to see strong male leaders begin to rise who know how to war like Joshua, but who will also worship like David.
They will be both fierce in battle and undignified in praise.
They will be men who carry divine authority but will also be clothed in humility.
They will lead their homes, guard their gates, and roar like lions to protect what God has given them.
They will walk in power and authority, not arrogance and dominance.
They will stand as priests of their families, prophets in their cities, and warriors in their generation.
In a time of timidity and passivity, they will be bold, burning, and unashamed.
They will speak with wisdom, love with purity, war with the Word, lead with humility, and serve with strength.
They won’t flinch in battle, fold under pressure, run from responsibility, or play church- they will be the Church.
And as these men of fire take their positions on the frontlines, they will break open the way for revival and reformation in the land.
