Loving people to Jesus - Free people, free people Golden Hearts Ministries is made up of Kristi Brantley and myself, Holli Usher.

Kristi and I met at Freedom Hill Recovery Home in 2013 where I was a resident and Kristi became a volunteer. Through the next year and a half Kristi helped mentor me. It is my story that Kristi loved me to Jesus by loving me where I was as a homosexual going through the process of overcoming addiction. I came to know Christ personally in July 2014 and was delivered of homosexuality, addiction, and

healed of fibromyalgia, crohn's disease, and other back injuries. We were called into ministry shortly after, and our calling is to show Christ's love to others and help them find freedom and healing. By combining my testimony of redemption and healing with Kristi's training in Inner Healing and Deliverance, God has created a powerful ministry. We are able to share my story, God's love and provide ministry to others.

Prayers appreciated for our family as we navigate the next few days & this new chapter in life. My dad’s fight with cancer ended peacefully this morning about 4 am. I’m thankful for the time my brothers & I have had caring for him, especially his last week of life. The grief is bareable by knowing my hope and strength are in Jesus and we’ll be together again one day. Thank you to everyone who has reached out and for all the prayers and support along the way, especially my Generation Church family. We appreciate it all very much! He was loved, respected, & appreciated by so many, more than he realized.
The song “Still Picks Up” came out last year right after dad’s diagnosis. It’s about calling your dad while he can still pick up. Even though Usher’s aren’t big talkers/phone people, I talked to my dad everyday over the last year until we started staying with him last week. Facing his diagnosis and mortality at his young age made me appreciate being able to call him everyday even more. Thankful for how God used this last year to bring us all closer than ever and that I have no regrets. I heard my dad tell me he loved me more this past year than I ever have and for that I’m grateful! I always knew it but it’s different hearing it. It’s going to be hard not picking up the phone to check on him everyday.
