Family movie night was a great way to spend Sunday evening with many members of the OBC family. We had a great turnout to watch King of Kings. What a powerful reminder of the life, love, and sacrifice of Jesus!

Our Oakland kids had a blast at the splash pad Sunday night! Great fun, fellowship, and lots of laughter as we soaked up summer together. Grateful for all the families who joined us!

What a night of fellowship and fun!

Tonight’s Super Summer Skate Night at Skate World brought together many kids and parents for an evening of laughter, connection, and good old-fashioned fun. From skating and ride-ons to games and plenty of pizza, it was a joy to see our church family come together and create memories.

We’re so thankful for the opportunity to pour into the next generation and build community in such a fun way. God is good—and so are nights like these!

He is Risen!

He is Risen!

Early on that Easter morning, the stone was rolled away and the tomb was found empty. Jesus Christ had conquered death, just as He said He would. The grave could not hold Him.

Because He lives, we have hope. We have freedom. We have victory.

Today, we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior—the greatest moment in history. May the joy of Easter fill your heart and remind you of the power of God’s love and the promise of new life.

The tomb is empty. Jesus is alive! Hallelujah!

We hope you’ll join us for one of our two services this morning. The first begins at 8:15 with the second beginning at 10:15.

Join us tonight for Worthy Wednesday! We will serve a meal at 5:30, and classes will begin at 6 directly after. We hope you’ll come and take part in a time of fun, fellowship and praising our Lord!

We pray that you’ll join us! Several of our children will be taking part in the play, and we can’t wait to see them praise the Lord.

Join us April 11th - 13th, at 7 pm nightly. Admission is free and nursery is provided for children 3 and under.

The Oakland Baptist Church Passion Play 2025, entitled "He is Risen Indeed", is just around the corner and certain to be a blessing from the Lord. We hope you'll make plans to join us and praise Jesus for the sacrifice he made for each of us.

Join us tonight for Worthy Wednesday—a special evening of fellowship, food, and, most importantly, worshiping Jesus! Dinner starts at 5:30 PM, and classes begin at 6:00 PM.

With spring break here, we know some may be traveling, but for those in town, we’re excited to help your child grow in Christ and connect with our church family. We can’t wait to see you!

What an amazing night we had at our fall festival last night! It was a great time of fun, fellowship and sharing about Jesus. From our food and many trunk-or-treat stations to our puppet show and bouncies, there was something for everyone! Thank you to the many who attended and helped to make the event such a success.
