We are so proud of the women’s ministry at East Corinth Baptist Church for spending the day preparing bags filled with essential care items for individuals receiving treatment through the Region IV Chemical Dependency Unit.

These ladies didn’t just collect and prepare these items. They carefully prayed over each bag, asking God to use this simple act of giving to bring encouragement, hope, and a reminder that these individuals are loved.

Along with essential care items, each bag also includes a copy of God’s Word and Gospel tracts, providing an opportunity for those receiving treatment to be introduced to the love, grace, and hope found in Jesus Christ.

Our prayer is that every person receiving one of these bags will be encouraged during this important season of treatment, experience healing and restoration, and ultimately come to know the saving love of Jesus.

What a beautiful example of putting faith into action and sharing the spirit of giving and hope with others. We are thankful for these ladies and their servant hearts!
