Memphis Islamic Center

Memphis Islamic Center 🕌 Masjid and Family Life Center located in Memphis, TN
Serving the spiritual, social & civic needs of our community. Please join and support the MIC family.

Memphis Islamic Center (MIC) was established in 2008 as a 501 (c)3 corporation with the IRS and registered in the State of Tennessee with the aim of establishing a multipurpose Islamic Center to serve the needs of Muslims in the suburban Memphis area and beyond. Since that time MIC has developed into the face of Islam in the greater Memphis metropolitan area. Currently we have a beautiful, sprawli

ng 55 acre campus with our first building, an expansion of the first building, over 350+ parking spaces, a park area with a pond, several outdoor shelters, a bridge, large children’s playground, and many more attractive features that already make MIC a Family Life Center. Now that we’ve finalized our architectural design, our next steps include starting construction on the main building that will include the masjid/mosque, multi-purpose hall, offices, education facilities, exercise and recreation areas, and much more! By investing in human resources, providing quality, innovative and relevant programming for the entire family, while leading extensive interfaith work throughout the region, MIC continues to lead by example. Our center has been nationally, and internationally recognized for its interfaith and outreach efforts. In 2010 our relationship with our generous neighbors, Heartsong Church, was showcased around the world via national and international media channels. We’ve continued working with many other faith partners on dialogues, helping the needy, building bridges, and reaching out to help others understand authentic Islamic teachings. Our “open door” policy welcomes anyone of any faith to participate in our activities, visit our campus and build lifelong friendships. We hope to see you soon!

Eid Mubarak to you and your loved ones, from all of us at Memphis Islamic Center!

We ask Allah SWT to accept the Hajj of those performing it this year, to accept our sacrifices, our du’as, our worship, and to shower mercy and forgiveness upon our community and the Ummah of Muhammad (PBUH).

It is from the sunnah to rejoice, express happiness, and celebrate on the day of Eid. Take time to gather with family and friends, strengthen ties, visit one another, share gifts and meals, and remember Allah SWT abundantly throughout it all.

May Allah SWT accept from all of us.
-The Memphis Islamic Center Team

This past Ramadan, a group of our youth and young professionals completed the 30 Days of Fajr Challenge where they showed up at MIC every morning for prayer, Qur’an, and reflection. Their reward was a trip to Qalam Institute in Dallas this past weekend. They spent time with scholars and students of knowledge, touring masajid across the DFW area, and getting a glimpse of what a life of Islamic learning looks like.
