"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." — Isaiah 40:31

Hope is more than wishful thinking—it’s a confident expectation rooted in God’s unchanging character. Life may bring seasons of uncertainty, but hope reminds us that our story is not over. God’s promises are steady anchors when the winds of life blow hard.

When we place our hope in Him, we find strength beyond our own, peace that defies circumstances, and courage to keep moving forward. Even in the waiting, God is working.

Prayer:

Lord, help me to place my hope fully in You. Renew my strength when I feel weary and remind me that Your plans are good and Your timing is perfect. Amen.

Services begin with Sunday School at 10 am and Morning Worship immediately following at 11 am.

Join us tomorrow, March 21st for our monthly outreach. Beginning at 12pm we will give away gently used clothing, a hot meal, and plenty of prayer. At 2pm we will meet the youth at Sunset Homes Community Building where we will share snacks and fun with school aged children, Kindergarten - H.S.

Get Your Baskets Ready… It’s Almost Glow Time!

We’re gearing up for one of the happiest traditions of the year, celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and watching kids light up with excitement at our Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt!

Every egg becomes a reminder of the Resurrection Story, and every smile reminds us why this community is so special.

Who: Open to all children ages 4 yrs - 17 yrs old
When: Saturday, March 28 - 7:30PM
Where: JR Dowdy Building - 1129 N 5th St., Cordele

Come enjoy food, fun, fellowship, and a glow‑tastic egg hunt made possible by Greater New Birth Family Outreach Ministry, Planter’s Bank, Main Street, Cordele Police Dept., Crisp County Sheriff’s Dept., South Georgia Banking Company, and our amazing community members.

If you are a Pastor in Cordele, GA I have a request. The Bible speaks clearly and consistently about believers coming together in unity to serve, strengthen one another, and build the Kingdom of God. We are called to grow, serve, and advance God's purposes together. With this in mind I'd like to know if you have any interest in joining local Pastors and their congregations for a Community Sunrise Service on the Community Clubhouse lawn on Resurrection Sunday? In addition, would you reach out to your Pastoral connections to determine their interest as well. I need to respond to the Pastor/Minister's group on Thursday, April 9th (9:30am Community Clubhouse. Choosing unity sometimes means choosing peace even when disagreement exists. God calls us to be bridge-builders.

Peacemakers strengthen communities by restoring relationships and fostering understanding. Unity grows wherever peace is pursued.
