First Street Church is a non-denominational fellowship of believers in Cordele, Georgia. Christ is our creed and pattern. How he lived is how we desire to live, as his Body, being the continued incarnation of Christ in the world. We see ourselves as part of the great and mysterious church of God, holy and universal, which began on Pentecost day after the resurrection of Jesus. We believe in God th
e Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus died for the sins of all according to the Scriptures. We believe that he is Lord of heaven and earth. We believe that he is coming again to resurrect and renew all things. We believe that whosoever will may freely receive his grace through faith in his name as evidenced by the fruit of repentance from dead works and baptism in his name, which is the pledge of a sincere conscience before God.
