First Street Church is a non-denominational fellowship of believers in Cordele, Georgia. Christ is our creed and pattern. How he lived is how we desire to live, as his Body, being the continued incarnation of Christ in the world. We see ourselves as part of the great and mysterious church of God, holy and universal, which began on Pentecost day after the resurrection of Jesus. We believe in God th

e Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus died for the sins of all according to the Scriptures. We believe that he is Lord of heaven and earth. We believe that he is coming again to resurrect and renew all things. We believe that whosoever will may freely receive his grace through faith in his name as evidenced by the fruit of repentance from dead works and baptism in his name, which is the pledge of a sincere conscience before God. Our fellowship is with God and with all baptized believers who seek to follow Christ as disciples.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of our dear sister Faustine Wiley this week. She loved her First Street Church family well but we know by the grace and promise of God that she is with Jesus and her loved ones gone before her.

Remembering Rachael Jackson and Donovan Ferns and their family in prayer today along with Tara Ward and her family today, that the God of all comfort console their hearts and minds through Jesus Christ.

Also remembering our sister Faustine and brother Shane Broxton and sister April for healing and strength in a time of illness. Also praying for Pat Dean and hoping she's feeling better today.

We are having our $5 supper this Wednesday at First Street Church of Christ. Each plate will contain a generous portion of spaghetti or lasagna or a combo which is some of both , salad, bread and dessert for only $5.00's. You can just drive through to pick up your plates if you order in advance . Pickup starts at 645. Let us do the cooking for you on Wednesday night. Thank you to everyone. April makes a delicious authentic traditional homemade spaghetti sauce with her traditional spaghetti and Vickey and crew make a cheesy baked spaghetti loaded with mozzarella cheese. Whichever style you like best, we've got you! Message either of these wonderful cooks if you wish to specify a preference.
