New Grace Kids Check-In & Check-Out Procedures

At Grace Kids, the safety and security of every child is our highest priority. Beginning Sunday, June 14, we will be implementing new check-in and check-out procedures to help ensure a safe and smooth experience for all families.

Check-In

• Upon arrival, children must be checked in by a parent or guardian at the kiosk located at the entrance to Faith Junction.

• The system will print a child name tag and a matching parent tag. Children should wear their name tag, and parents should keep their tag for check-out.

• New families will be asked to complete a registration form.

• Nursery and Pre-K children must be escorted by a parent or guardian directly to their classroom.

• Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade may be dropped off at the check-in counter.

Check-Out

• Parent or guardian must present their parent tag to enter the children's building.

• For all age groups, parents or guardians will pick up their children outside their classroom.

• Staff will match the parent tag with the child's tag before released.

• If a parent or guardian does not have their parent tag, a valid photo ID will be required before a child can be released.

🛠️ JUNKYARD REDEMPTION VBS 2026🛠️

This summer, we'll be sharing with children God's master plan to remake our broken world through Junkyard Redemption VBS, and we need servants to help make it happen!

Whether you love teaching, leading games, helping with crafts, decorating, registration, snacks, or simply building relationships with kids, there's a place for you to serve.

VBS will take place July 19–23 from 6:00–8:30 PM for children Pre-K through 5th Grade.

SO excited to welcome Amy Rector to Grace Kids❣️🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Good evening Grace Family!
As you know we've been in the process of hiring a person to oversee Grace Kids. We are appreciative of Seth Hopkins and Amy McClure's oversight these past several weeks as we've reviewed resumes' and gone through an interview process. A time of transition is an opportunity to evaluate the needs of ministry areas and the church in general. To this end, the Church Board is pleased to share that we have hired Amy Rector as our new Family Life Pastor.
You may be asking "What's a Family Life Pastor?". Great question. Amy and I will be working through a process of putting together a portfolio of responsibilities, but they will include oversight of Grace Kids, Women's Ministry, Family Events, and other possible ministry oversights that are connected to building strong families in the life of the church.
Amy brings with her a wide variety of experience in various ministries, has a heart to raise up people to serve in ministry, and is a gifted teacher of the Word. She has already made a tremendous impact in our Women's Ministry and I'm confident her gifts will crossover into developing a thriving Family Life Ministry!!
Here's how you can help in this time of transition. 1-be in prayer for Amy as she will be spending a lot of time evaluating current ministries under her oversight. 2-sign up to serve in Grace Kids for Sunday mornings. 3-sign up to serve in VBS that takes place later in July (time is of the essence on this one). Please let Amy McClure know if you can serve at VBS. We will be under a tight time crunch due to the time of transition in staff. 4-welcome Amy onto our staff when you have a chance.
Until June 1st Seth and Amy Mc will continue to oversee Sunday 10am and 11am kids ministry. Please be patient as we navigate the transition to Amy's leadership. Amy's official start date will be Monday, June 1st. Thanks for your prayers as we've navigated this time of transition. We are believing that God is going to continue to move in our church and draw people closer to Himself. Blessings!

“Ants on a log” was a perfect snack to end our Wednesday nights-especially when we used graham crackers, chocolate frosting and chocolate chips (instead of celery, peanut butter and raisins)❣️We learned that ants work hard, but WE don’t have to work hard to get to heaven! Ephesians 2;8-9 tells us we are saved by GRACE through our faith in Jesus❣️ We worshiped in song and in prayer❣️ We “worked hard” carrying “food” like ants during our relay race! Good times in Grace Kids-plan to join us this Sunday: 10am Sunday School; 11am Kids Church❣️

In Matthew 5, Jesus said, “You are the salt of the earth and the light of the world,” so tonight we snacked on some salty pretzels disguised as “torches” (complete with marshmallows, Cool Whip and sugar sprinkles)❣️Also made a magnet for the frig and decoded our verse in a fun way❣️
