Misunderstanding the works of the devil.

Psalms1:1-6
[1] Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
[2] But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
[3] And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
[4] The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
[5] Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
[6] For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

John 3:8-10 (KJV)
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Ezekiel 18:4 (KJV)
4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Psalm 145:17 KJV
17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

Proverbs 3:6 KJV
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

1 John 3:6-9 (KJV)
6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

1 Corinthians 15:34 KJV
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Jesus came to show the world how to keep from sin. The doctrines of Christ are holiness and righteousness. This is because it saves souls from the consequences of sin and death, when done.

John 6:63 KJV
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

John 14:15 KJV
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 5:19-20 (KJV)
19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

John 14:21 KJV
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Jesus doesn't just come into anyone, one has to do things the way he commanded. The commands of Jesus are the same commands he learned from the Father. This is why the ways of righteousness are found in the old and new testaments.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Jesus didn't change to the ways of his disciples. They had to learn his way of doing things. Just as everyone who worships God is to do.
This is why what Jesus said and did came from God. That's where he learned it. Now the ways of God don't result in sin, but the ways of the devil do. As they are ungodly and unrighteous. This is where most lose track of what's going on.
God doesn't leave heaven to change the outcome of things. That's why there are commands to follow. The ways of God always work out right. It has nothing to do with one's intentions, but the way they do things.

Proverbs 14:12 (KJV)
12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Many don't realize that they came from sinful ways. That didn't change when they came to Christ. One doesn't start to change, until they start seeking God's righteousness as commanded.

Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Scripture let's one know where to look and it reveals God's promise to those who are diligent.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Matthew 5:6 (KJV)
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

God doesn't put His righteousness within, He commands to seek it. If one is being properly instructed, this world be taught by those who have matured in the word of righteousness.

Hebrews 5:13-14 KJV
13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Not everyone has the truth within them, when it comes to the knowledge of God.

1 John 2:3-4 (KJV)
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Psalm 111:10 KJV
10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Many may claim that God reveals things to them, but ask them how. The same goes for the works of the devil. If righteousness isn't being taught and practiced, sin is at work within. Just because it seems right, seek what the Bible says. Ask what scriptures we're followed to gather that information. As it would be known

John 14:15-31 (KJV)
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

There's only one way to receive a Comforter and Spirit of truth. It's only a portion, for each way learned. This is why those claiming to be filled with the Spirit, usually have no truth within them. This is because of all one needs to do. It's not easy to walk the straight and narrow, if the ways of the devil are still at work within. One cannot be filled with the Spirit of God, but still have the spirit of the devil at work at the same time. At church, most follow what is practiced there. Without ever seeking, the ways God commands. Believing that what they are doing is of God, because they trust it.
Scripture wouldn't say my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, if all had it.

1 Corinthians 1:26 KJV
26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

Matthew 7:13-14 (KJV)
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

This is not to bring anyone down, but to show how the works of the devil, go unnoticed.
Many are babe's to the word of righteousness and unskilled in knowing the difference between the ways of God and the ways of the devil. If one is taught God puts it in you as a gift, many are going to believe it. Even when scripture says something else.
It's a challenge to find those who have matured in righteousness and share what they know. Even more rare is the acceptance that it's the truth.
Not learning the ways of God, will only keep one growing in the ways of unrighteousness, because of not knowing better. It would behoove all to do as God commands and seek the kingdom of heaven and God's righteousness. So that the works of the devil will be known and those ways avoided.

If you don't know it, how do you know it's not of God?

1 Corinthians 2:14-15(KJV)
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

1 Corinthians 3:1-3 KJV
1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

Hebrews 5:13-14 (KJV)
13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Strong meat, is the spiritual word of righteousness. As the word of God is based on righteousness. Many don't realize how they've rejected God because of not knowing Him.

Hosea 4:6 KJV
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Most don't understand that those who are spiritual, are the ones who are meet for the Masters use, because they are purged of unrighteousness. One doesn't become skilled in the word of righteousness, unless they are doing it at all times. Regardless of what is going on.
The ways of God are not changed by feelings and emotions. They are to always be done, the way they are commanded.

1 Corinthians 14:40 KJV
40 Let all things be done decently and in order.

Anything indecent or out of order is not following what God commands. It has nothing to do with being human, because the ways of God always work.

1 John 2:3-4 KJV
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Titus 1:16 KJV
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Those who are spiritual, keep judgement, because they live a life of righteousness. They are not learning as they go, they have matured in righteousness, from doing as the word says at all times

Psalms 106:3 KJV
3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

It's not that one is going to be corrected or provided with the ways of God, because those who are spiritual are few.

1 Corinthians 1:26 (KJV)
26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

Matthew 7:13-14 KJV
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

One cannot enter into the straight gate if unrighteousness is still at work within, because that would mean sin is present. God is clear about who is meet for His use. As only those who walk in the ways of God, know how to manifest the works of the Spirit. God is a Spirit.

05/04/2020

Deceived by man's beliefs.

1 Corinthians 2:14 KJV
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Titus 1:16 (KJV)
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

1 John 2:3-4 (KJV)
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Many come to Christ and are taught they are filled with the Spirit and children of God. Without knowing what the Spirit of God is or what being a child of God entails. God provides what to do, in order to be filled with His ways and become His child.

Matthew 6:33 KJV
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 7:7-8 (KJV)
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Matthew 5:6 KJV
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Psalm 145:17 KJV
17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

1 John 2:29 KJV
29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

1 John 5:18 KJV
18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

1 John 3:10 KJV
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Sin is not the evidence of God at work within or the evidence of being a child of God. Nobody is just changed. This is why God commands to seek His righteousness and do it, in order to be in His image. As all the works of God are Holy. Meaning without sin.
This has nothing to do with one's intentions, because it doesn't charge the way one does anything. Direction in righteousness, is provided in the word, so that those who are of God, will have all good works.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (KJV)
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

1 Corinthians 15:34 (KJV)
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Scripture speaks about not having the knowledge of God and many believe it's just put within. This is because scripture is not given enough time for learning. Many do what is taught, believing it's right. Without seeking the truth.
Paul describes the difference between one why is spiritual and what exists in those who are not.

1 Corinthians 3:1-3 (KJV)
3 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

Many don't identify with being carnal. Many also believe that discernment is given as a gift is, in the practices of the natural man. Much of man's deception is from following the ways of the natural man. Who cannot receive the things of the Spirit or know them. This is why so much comes from belief, but not known from the truth of doing things the way God commands.
Understand that the word was written from the ways of righteousness. This is why those who keep God's commands, would have a better understanding from doing things the same way .

Psalms 111:10 KJV
10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

This is why having the knowledge of God is needed. Not just for the word, but also for identifying the false prophets and teaching's.

04/19/2020

Why so many are still in sin.

1 Corinthians 3:1-3 (KJV)
3 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

Hosea 4:6 (KJV)
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

1 Corinthians 15:34 KJV
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

As much as it's in scripture to seek God's righteousness, few use what God provided to seek and do it.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (KJV)
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Psalm 145:17 (KJV)
17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

1 John 2:29 - If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

1 John 5:18 KJV
18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

Many use the excuse that all have sinned, but this is about seeking the ways of righteousness, in order to come away from sin.
One doesn't become skilled in the word of righteousness, unless they are seeking through scripture to find the ways God commands. God promises those who seek shall find and those who are diligent will be filled.

Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Yet, how many have faith in God, to do things the way scripture instructs, in order to receive the blessings?

James 1:22-25 (KJV)
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

It's not impossible to live in this world and not sin. As Jesus didn't sin. If one seeks to do all things righteously, sin wouldn't be the outcome in their actions.

1 John 3:7 (KJV)
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

04/17/2020

The wrath of God - removing mercy and grace.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Ezekiel 18:4 (KJV)
4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

2 Peter 3:9 (KJV)
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Hebrews 10:26-27 KJV
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Romans 1:18-19, 32 (KJV)
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

One comes to Christ, seeking salvation and redemption from sin. Everyone comes to Christ ungodly and unrighteous, because those are the ways of this world. Which is why sin is the result of their works.
God commands to seek His kingdom and righteousness. Mercy and grace are provided to do so, without having the full consequences of sin.
God does not put His ways within anyone.

Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Matthew 7:7-8 (KJV)
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Matthew 5:6 (KJV)
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Many don't seek the ways of God and become accustomed to the ungodly ways they know. Some come into the knowledge of truth, but are usually too involved with the ways in practice to change. This is where mercy and grace is lost, for what was denied.
Salvation's purpose, not for the continuation of sin. As many believe that when they come to Christ, they are saved. Saved from what? The ungodly ways of doing things, haven't changed. So sin is still being done. One claiming to be born again, usually only follows man's beliefs of what that is. If no unrighteousness has changed, one is still filled with the ways of the devil. Just because different things are done, doesn't make one a child of God.
Nothing just happens and most don't identify with their ungodly ways, because their beliefs are that it's acceptable to God. Only the ways God commands, are acceptable.
Those who live in accordance with the ways of God, will be the ones, providing reproof and direction in righteousness. As this is the way God commands, to keep one from their unrighteous way that was discerned.

Psalms 106:3 KJV
3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

It doesn't matter how one comes to know what God commands, what matters is if one is going to do it. Many don't adhere to scripture, believing instead, what they are taught. Usually it's scripture, from the promises of God, which only apply to the doers of the word.

One is not doing anything righteously, unless it's from the way scripture instructs. Those who do righteousness, always provide scripture, to show what the word says. Avoiding any suggestions of self righteousness.
This may seem odd to many, because it's not what they've learned or practice. Some are brutal, due to the ways at work within them.

Proverbs 12:1 - Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof [is] brutish.

Proverbs 15:32 - He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.

Those who reject the truth, put their souls in danger, because of losing mercy and grace, for what they were reproved and corrected for.
God doesn't cause one to suffer the consequences, because warning is provided in scripture. When things get out of hand, it's not God bringing anyone to another level. It's the outcome of what sin causes. As God, in the ways of righteousness keeps one from the consequences of sin, when righteousness is being done.
It would behoove all to learn the truth about God and stop believing the lies.

2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 (KJV)
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

04/14/2020

In the body of Christ, without the knowledge of God.

Matthew 6:10 (KJV)
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Isaiah 55:8-9 (KJV)
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Psalm 145:17 (KJV)
17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 15:8-9 (KJV)
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Hosea 4:6 (KJV)
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

1 Corinthians 15:34 (KJV)
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

In the body of Christ, reside many without the knowledge of God's righteousness. Yet, one of God's commands, is to be holy. This means without sin.
We've all come to Christ, with the ungodly knowledge of this world. In order to do God's will, one must change their lives and live in accordance with the ways of heaven, as commanded in scripture. This is what most fail to do.
It's not expected for one just coming to Christ, to have any knowledge. One has to learn how to seek the ways of heaven, by those who are doing righteousness.

1 John 2:29 ( KJV) - If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

1 John 5:18 (KJV)
18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

Regardless of how most are used to doing things, doing things righteously, is what keeps one from sin, as a result of the works done.
Many know nothing about the truth about the Spirit or how the works are manifested. All things are possible with God, because His ways never fail, to keep one from sin.
God doesn't cause things to happen, because things are going on at all times. There's only the outcome of obedience or disobedience to what God commands being done. Just because something turns out a certain way, doesn't mean God made it happen.

1 John 2:3-4 (KJV)
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Titus 1:16 (KJV)
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

The belief of many, is that God is at work within them, because they are filled with His Spirit.
Lack of knowledge about God, is why so many believe what isn't true. Claiming to be born again, doesn't make it so. It's man's belief, that when one comes to Christ, they are born again or saved. This is because, they don't know anything about redemption.
Repentance, has nothing to do with being sorry. It's a change from doing things unrighteously, to doing things righteously, in order to be forgiven.

2 Chronicles 7:14(KJV)

Man's way of saying sorry, doesn't change a thing. That way is not of God and there's no forgiveness. Ungodly ways don't please God. Regardless of one's intentions.
Understand that the works of the devil, are ungodly ways being manifested. Most don't know the difference, because they don't know what God's ways are. Most only do what they believe is right, because it's what they "feel".

Proverbs 14:12 (KJV)
12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

If one only has the knowledge of this world and God commands to seek His ways, what does one believe they are doing?
Following the doctrines of man, is what most do, because most don't seek to know the truth about God. The doctrines of Christ, are holiness and righteousness, because the ways of righteousness, keep one from sin. This is absent from the ways of this world.
Coming to Christ doesn't change one's ways. Most only change the things they do, which have nothing to do with righteousness or holiness.
Pay close attention to what scripture says about the natural man.

1 Corinthians 2:14-15 (KJV)
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

Hebrews 5:13-14 (KJV)
13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Those who have matured in the knowledge of righteousness, can discern between good and evil, in order to keep themselves from sin. Doing, righteousness at all times, is what keeps one free from sin.

1 John 3:10 (KJV)
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

These are the things that are not included in man's doctrines, because the knowledge of God is missing.

Romans 8:6-8 (KJV)
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

It doesn't matter what one believes they are doing. If it's not being done righteously, it doesn't count. Many attempt to follow the ten commandments. Without knowing, they are only the things God commands to be done. They have to be done righteously. Many try to do what they believe is godly, without paying attention to what scripture says. The natural man, cannot receive the things of the Spirit or know them.
Let's now address what a false prophet and teacher are. They are the ones sharing the untruths, from their beliefs and practices. God doesn't call the unrighteous to do any work. It has nothing to do with anything coming from scripture, if one doesn't know God's ways to interpret it. All scripture is based on the ways of God and has nothing to do with the ways of this world.
There's no such thing as imagination with God, because all is to be known from the truth, from doing as commanded. One who doesn't know God, has no knowledge of heaven and can only imagine what it's like from their knowledge of this world. Which has nothing in common.
The words in scripture are read the same, but don't have the same meaning. Many are deceived, because they don't know any better. This comes with great consequences. Even to those who are sincere about serving God.

2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 (KJV)
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

God provides warnings for what happens to those who do unrighteousness. God doesn't cause the results of sin to happen. That's what the end result is. The warning is to give direction, for what not to do.
God, not the devil are entity's, that go around doing things. All ungodliness and unrighteousness, are from the ways of the devil. Which are the ways of this world, which is why one sins.
The reason why so many are destroyed for lack of knowledge, is because they don't seek God's righteousness and do it. Nobody would fall short, if they did things the way God commanded, because the ways of God never fail.
Many don't read the word, to seek God's righteousness, because of what they believe. Beliefs, are not going to change what scripture says.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (KJV)
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Matthew 5:6 (KJV)
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

1 John 3:7 (KJV)
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

Psalms 106:3 (KJV)
3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

Instructions of God, are all throughout scripture, but how many do as commands, to know God? This is why so many are lost in sin. If keeping from sin is what gets one into heaven, why isn't everyone in the body of Christ, hungering and thirsting after righteousness?
It would behoove all, about being diligent in seeking righteousness within scripture.

Matthew 7:7-8 (KJV)
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

The promises of God, is that if one is diligent in seeking, they shall find. No other way will work, but one wouldn't know unless they've done it.
Speak from your knowledge of doing things the way God commands and let the works of the Spirit be manifested.
