Did you know that UUS is hosting a traveling exhibit from the African American Museum of Iowa?

Suspended: Systemic Oppression in Our Schools "[e]xamine[s] the role public schools play in funneling students into the prison system [and how] elements of the criminal justice system have entered public schools around the country, resulting in zero tolerance policies and student policing that disproportionately effect children of color."

Join us for Sound Meditation TOMORROW at 6:30 pm here at UUS!

We'll gather for a late summer sound meditation led by Tina McCoy of Integrity Life and enjoy the relaxing sounds of the singing bowls, chimes, bells, and more. Please arrive 15 minutes early to create your comfort space. Chairs are available for those who wish to be seated.
