With deep gratitude, we wish to honor Corina Dekker for her extraordinary leadership and faithful service. As Head of School for The Growing Place and Executive Director of First Coral Gables for the past 13 years, Corina has guided our church and school community with wisdom, compassion, vision, and grace. Her dedication, professionalism, and servant-hearted spirit have helped shape the life of this community in countless meaningful ways! Although we will miss her, we rejoice as she takes her incredible talents to a school in Sanibel, Florida.

Please join us in celebrating Corina’s long and fruitful ministry among us in a special reception in Founders Hall, following the 11am worship service on Sunday, June 7. Let's celebrate the lasting impact of her leadership, faith, and love!

Yesterday, we had the bittersweet privilege of bidding "ahoha" to our Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Hedy Hall-Collver. We will forever give thanks for her faithful ministry, compassionate leadership, and steadfast love!

Her final worship service at our church was filled with gratitude, reflection, laughter, tears, and deep appreciation for her gentle heart and bold vision. For seven wonderful years, Pastor Hedy has led First Coral Gables with wisdom, courage, grace, and an unwavering faith in God’s work among us.

We are so excited to see where her next ministry will take her, and she, Chuck and Dude go with our blessings and hopes for a lifetime of joy!
