Copper Center, Alaska VBS

Copper Center, Alaska VBS A team from MI and a church in AK working together to celebrate Christ’s Love. The goal was to bring the amazing word and works of the Lord to the kids.

In May of 2013, our church, Christ Lutheran of Milford, MI, was contacted by a church in Copper Center, Alaska that needed help. They were looking for a group of volunteers to travel to Copper Center and help run a Vacation Bible School for the local children. Just a few weeks later, a group of twelve volunteers packed up and flew into Anchorage and made the four hour journey to Copper Center. The experience was amazing, for both the kids and the mission team. Christ Lutheran's Alaska mission team is still thriving four years later. Join us as we venture to Alaska year after year, spreading God's eternal and all-encompassing love.
