THIS SUNDAY // Join us from 6-8pm for Family Fun Day at the Flower Mound CAC (Community Activity Center). The waterpark will be open just for BridgeWay Church and includes water slides, a lazy river, water features, and more.

Cost is FREE, so invite your friends, family and neighbors to come and hang out.

This week, over 25 of our 3rd-5th graders are having a blast at Mt. Lebanon in Cedar Hill, Tx for kids camp 2026! 😎 Our kids are participating in worship, bible teaching, small groups, and all the great activities Mt. Lebanon offers, like zip lines, swimming, climbing walls, and much more!

Let's pray for our kids as they finish up their week at camp, that the word of God they receive there would bear lasting fruit in their lives!

We all want to be seen as valuable. Because of this, we often drift toward self-justification—to be viewed as worthwhile.

This Sunday, we were reminded that the cross shows us that we don’t need to boast in or justify ourselves. It’s Jesus who has freely justified us—by not only cleansing our sin, but by giving us His own perfect righteousness. We don’t need to exalt ourselves to be seen as better or more important than we feel we are. Instead, our boast is not in ourselves, but in Christ and Him crucified!

Yesterday, we gathered around the greatest message ever proclaimed: the message of the Cross.

In a world that looks to human wisdom and human power to solve what's broken, the gospel reminds us that God has chosen a different way. The Cross exposes our inability to save ourselves while revealing the wisdom and power of God in Jesus Christ. What appears to be weakness is victory, and what looks like foolishness is the very means of our salvation.

As we go into this week, let’s resist the temptation to trust in ourselves. Instead, let's rest in the finished work of Christ and walk in the freedom that comes from a Savior who has already accomplished what we never could!
