What if you’ve forgotten just how much you’ve been rescued from?

In Ephesians 2, Paul reminds us that we were not simply struggling in sin—we were dead in sin, unable to save ourselves. But God, rich in mercy and great in love, made us alive with Christ.

Our salvation was never something we could earn. It is a gift of grace, given through faith in Jesus. And that same grace that saved us is the grace we continue to depend on, even in our failures.

We don’t live for God to earn His grace. We live in response to the grace He has already given us.

What if the greatest blessing in your life isn’t something God gives you, but knowing God Himself?

In Ephesians 1, Paul reminds us of the incredible spiritual blessings we have in Christ. We are chosen by the Father, redeemed through the Son, and sealed by the Holy Spirit. And yet, Paul’s prayer for believers goes even deeper: that we would know God more fully and understand the hope, inheritance, and power we have in Him.

Knowing God is not simply a means to a better life. He is the purpose and joy of our lives.

Happy Pastor Appreciation Day!

Today, we’re celebrating and thanking our elders who faithfully serve our church family in so many ways— some seen and so many unseen.

They humbly lead, serve without pretense, guard and teach the Truth, care for the body in word and deed, and sacrificially love the church for God’s glory.

We are so grateful for how they generously give of their time, giftings, and resources to serve the church. Most of all we’re thankful for how they diligently seek the Lord and His glory in all things, and how they model lives of devotion, adoration, and submission to King Jesus.

Thank you for faithfully shepherding and building up God’s people. And thank you to their wives and families for supporting and serving alongside of them. Praise God for His faithfulness!

What does it look like to mature in Christ?

Galatians 6 reminds us that spiritual maturity isn’t about simply knowing more—it’s about becoming more like Jesus. It looks like walking in step with the Spirit, carrying one another’s burdens, taking responsibility for our own walk, continuing to do good, and living as the new creation Christ has made us.

Maturity means growing up in our faith so that the world can see Jesus through the way we live.

Are you winning the battle against yourself?

Galatians 5 reminds us that there is a battle happening within us—the desires of the flesh pulling one way and the Spirit leading us another. We weren’t called to fight that battle in our own strength. We’re called to walk by the Spirit and let Him shape our desires, our choices, and our lives.

When we keep in step with the Spirit, He produces something new in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

The battle is real. But we don’t have to fight it alone.
