"Our vision is to help people improve their relationship with God and each other by sharing and staying faithful to the Gospel of Jesus Christ." He wants everyone to have a personal relationship with Him and become fully devoted follo
wers of Christ. Our desire is to help people strengthen friendships, marriages, and families. DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
The Bible
We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original documents and our sole authority for faith and practice. The Godhead
We believe that there is one God eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person of the Godhead is equal in nature and all possess the same attributes and perfections. The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, perfect sacrifice for the sin of the whole world, bodily resurrection and ascension to the right hand of the Father where He is the High Priest and Advocate for His people. We believe in the visible, personal, imminent return of Christ to receive His church unto Himself, and in His subsequent return to earth to set up His kingdom. The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin. He is the agent in regeneration, at which the moment He baptizes and seals the believers into the body of Christ, and immediately indwells him. We believe that the Holy Spirit fills the obedient believer with power, so that he is able to live a life that is pleasing to God, and gives illumination and guidance to the believer so that he can maintain a proper Christian walk. Man
We believe that man, in Adam, was created by God, in the image of God, but that he fell through sin and as a consequence is guilty before God--resulting in physical and spiritual death (spiritual death being separation from God). This sinful condition and resultant death has been transmitted to the entire human race (Christ being the only exception). Salvation
We believe that salvation comes by faith in Jesus Christ alone, without works, and solely by grace. Assurance
We believe that in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the believer has the assurance of salvation. The Resurrection
We believe in the resurrection of all mankind - believers to everlasting life in the presence of God, unbelievers to the conscious and everlasting condemnation in hell. The Church
We believer in the universal church - all believers of this age baptized by the Holy Spirit into one body. The Ordinances
We believe in the local church - the universal church congregated in local assemblies - the distinctives of which include the ordinances of the Lord's Supper and water baptism by immersion. Marriage
We believe the Bible teaches that marriage is a spiritual covenant made between one man and one women before God, ideally for life. However, while undesirable, divorce is permitted in specific situations.
