Bible core course has been a lot of fun so far. I’ve learned so much about the Bible learning new study methods, studying the cultural/ Historical background in books of the Bible, and growing closer to Gods word. I love these people and I’m so glad I’m fortunate enough to travel and meet them.

We learned about Romans this last week and a something that stuck out to me is in this scripture Romans 9:1-5 “I am speaking the truth in Christ— I am not lying; my conscience bears me witness in the Holy Spirit– that I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart, For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh. They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises. To them belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ, who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen.”
Explanation: Paul is willing to give up his partnership/ salvation with Christ going into eternal torment so that the Israelites could be helped. This really nails down the love Paul had for his people because the amount he loved Christ is so great and for him willingly giving up that is mind blowing!!

“There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3‬:‭18‬ ‭then I prayed and the Lord gave me this verse it connects to an assignment we had which was about all the proverbs that talk about fearing the Lord. We’re called to revere and respect God because he is mighty. Not a fear of fright but a fear of delight. When we delight in him we see his character and we can see he is just and hates evil! There’s a proverb that says “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭8‬:‭13‬ ‭we can be more like Christ when you truly fear the Lord. This is not to tell you what to do, but take and dwell on this for yourself, seek, ask, and knock. Delighting in God and he will reveal himself to you!🙌😁🕺

We got one free day at the beach in Costa Rica got to boogie board on some big waves and got burnt again, but I prayed over it and it never hurt so that’s a good thing (last photo)😁 then after the free day we packed up and left to THE NEEW COUNTRY OF KOSOVO. Unfortunately during the airport in Paris we had to leave a team member Liia, but she’s doing well now she’s with her family and everything got sorted out. She’d been having teeth pains and that’s been taken care of! In Jesus name she’s getting rest and recovery and we’ll see her again in a week in Austria where we have one more week of teaching with everyone from our Backpack DTS. Then we have one week of debrief in Norway and then headed back to the 🇺🇸!

Our time in Kosovo has been a lot of Jet lag we’re like 7-8 hours ahead of Costa Rica and Panama now! We met up with one other group from our DTS so that was so fun it felt unreal to see some familiar faces again! We’ve done some evangelism, here in Kosovo it’s 95% Muslim but they’re not all practicing their religion they just grow up in Muslim homes. Conversation is very open here to religion, but they only believe in Jesus as a prophet, that good deeds outweigh bad deeds, that they pray to God and he directly forgives them of their sins, and certain rules they have to follow like praying 5 times a day etc.. we’ve been praying a lot for open hearts, minds, ears, and eyes to see that Jesus is the one and true way to get to heaven and bringing his message!

We’re also preparing for ministry with the other team (Around the world) to do some kids ministry, a woman’s conference, and a church service! We’ve just prepared Skits, messages, testimonies, and lots of plans today. We leave tomorrow so just pray that we travel safely and bring Gods power and authority to people’s hearts!

Also it was my birthday thank you for all the birthday wishes God bless your hearts. It was a great day we evangelized, ate some good food with team around the world, and unfortunately we were witnesses to an accident it started hailing and raining pretty hard and we had just run across the street and got under shelter when we were there taking pictures and standing for a minute there was an accident someone ran into a bicyclists. I don’t want to explain all the details it wasn’t a terrible accident he regained consciousness and the ambulance came fast so hes probably already good 👍. It’s just a shocking event and it really made me think it could have been one of our team members or I myself and it encouraged me to see faith in Jesus more seriously because if that guy doesn’t know Jesus he wouldn’t inherit eternal life. So I hope our teams Blindfolded and Around the world can make an impact on this place and show them who Jesus is!!

I’m so thankful for the time the lord has given for me to experience working in a team. This last week I was given the opportunity to lead the team alongside Henny the girl in the second photo. It was a great learning experience things went very smooth. It was a great week were we did some evangelizing, practical work, and kids ministry. BUT theirs still room for improvement! Our communication we could have done a few things to make things more clear between us as leaders and for the team at certain points.

All that aside, I’m so glad for the people the Lord has put in our path. That we can grow closer to Jesus, play games, and make memories that will last a life time. It’s so fun to build new relationships with all the kids and others around Panama. (Even though my Spanish isn’t the best)
But what I’ve taken to heart from Costa Rica and Panama. From what I’m still experiencing is how giving/sharing the community is you can just walk up to someone’s house and talk to them they’ll invite you in, give you a place to stay, make you food, and offer fun activities to do. They’re so family oriented and truly have the gift of unity and loving their neighbor! These countries are blessed by the lord! Theirs also other little things like on bus rides the man will give his seat to a woman to stand, one stranger playing with another strangers baby, and also strangers sit next to each other. These are so small things yet we can’t even love our neighbor enough just to sit next to someone we don’t know😂 it’s a warm culture that doesn’t mean we can’t do these things in cold cultures as well where people are more independent and want to be left alone. Who knows you might brighten their day!!😁 So I encourage go sit next to a stranger whether at church or on a bench outside! Praising the lord thank you for these people en el nombre de Jesus Amen!🙏
