Good theology should do more than sharpen our arguments—it should shape our lives.

If what we believe about God is true, it should make us increasingly humble, gracious, and quick to repent. Biblical conviction is never an excuse for pride. The goal isn’t simply to be right, but to be formed more and more into the likeness of Christ.

“If your theological convictions are not actively making you more gracious, humble, and repentant, then your beliefs are not being shaped by Jesus; they’re motivated by a desire to be argumentatively ‘right.’”
