SERVICE TO BE HELD TODAY AT 4:00 PM HERE AT EVANGELISTIC TABERNACLE (GPS 216 N Main St Cooperstown PA 16317)

To say that WE were the ones blessed when God brought the steps of Steve into our church family through our Bethlehem ministry extension would be a gross understatement. Steve very quickly became an integral part of who we are and his love for God, his family and church family poured into everything he did. I can still hear his voice as he specifically referenced something "the good Lord" had done for him.
Last year Steve's physical body took a serious decline and in November he shared this prayer.
"Lord, maybe I don't know what the future holds, but I know that You are in control and that your plans for me are good. I surrender to You my plans, my fears and my doubts today. I know You will never give me more than I can handle, because where my strength ends, yours begins."
Yesterday, on Father's Day, Steve's physical body ceased struggling and our Mac went HOME to be with his heavenly Father, "the GOOD LORD."
As we have the HOPE of HEAVEN, our hearts grieve our earthly loss here but we have the faith birthed from the promise in the Word of God, that we will one day be together again.
PLEASE pray for Steve's wife, children and grandchildren at this time and throughout the days ahead. They were the loves of his life!

Season 11 is officially CLOSED. God has greatly blessed us another year in spite of the dreadful weather. It has been a beautiful birthday celebration and we have been so blessed to share it with you!!
Thank you for coming and sharing this season with us.
And thank you, Family, for coming together again and making "it" happen, from beginning to end! Thank all of YOU!!
The luncheon was a special way to end.

Christmas was never supposed to be a burden.
In fact, it was meant to be the opposite.

It’s the celebration of the moment Jesus came to take the weight we could never carry ourselves.
The weight of sin.
The weight of shame.
The weight of striving to be enough.

He didn’t come to burden us,
He came to lift us up.

Christmas is not about how much we spend, how perfect our decorations look, or the gifts that we receive.
It’s about remembering that the greatest gift came to relieve us, not burden us.

So if this season feels heavy, lay it down.
Because Christmas is the reminder that He carried it first, so we don’t have to anymore.

“So come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
