“Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues.” — 1 Corinthians 14:39 NKJV

Few gifts of the Holy Spirit have been as misunderstood, debated, feared, or even forbidden as the gift of tongues. But what does the Bible actually teach?

In this message, Do Not Forbid, we’re opening 1 Corinthians 12–14 and Acts 2 to discover what Scripture teaches about tongues, prayer language, and the interpretation of tongues.

We’ll look at:
� The Language — What are tongues, and what does it mean that the Spirit gives utterance?
� The Functions — How do tongues function as prayer, praise, a sign, and a public gift accompanied by interpretation?
� The Purpose — Why did God give this gift, and how does it bring edification to the believer and the church?

We don’t want to quench what God wants to do, and we don’t want to abuse what God has given. We want everything the Holy Spirit has for His church, exercised according to His Word.

🔥 8 YEARS OF IGNITE! 🔥

Eight years ago, God began a work called **Ignite Ministries**—and what a journey it has been!

We’ve watched Jesus save lives, restore families, heal broken hearts, call people into ministry, raise up the next generation, care needs, and build a church family hungry for His presence. Through every mountain and every valley, God has been faithful.

But we don’t believe the greatest days of Ignite are behind us.

WE BELIEVE THEY ARE AHEAD OF US

We’re not celebrating eight years so we can look back and say, “Look what we built.” We’re looking back and saying, “Look what JESUS has done!” And if He has done all of this in eight years, we can’t wait to see what He does next.

We believe REVIVAL IS COMING. 🔥

Not because of a church name.
Not because of a pastor.
Not because of a program.

Because of JESUS.

We’re believing for our city to encounter Jesus. We’re believing for prodigals to come home, addictions to be broken, families to be restored, bodies to be healed, believers to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and a generation to be set on fire for God.

Eight years down—and we’re just getting started.

Jesus, have Your way in Ignite. Have Your way in our community. Let revival come, and let it begin with us!

� GHOSTED: Open the Gifts
Are the gifts of the Holy Spirit still for the Church today? Are gifts like prophecy, tongues, healing, words of knowledge, and other manifestations of the Spirit only for a select few—or does God desire to work through His whole Church?
In this message, we continue our GHOSTED: Rediscovering the Holy Spirit series by opening 1 Corinthians 12–14 and looking at what Scripture actually teaches about spiritual gifts.
We’ll discover that:
� The Gifts Are Still Active — They didn’t expire with the apostles.
� The Gifts Are Available to All — The manifestation of the Spirit is given for the good of the whole body.
� The Gifts Are to Be Desired by All — Scripture tells us to “earnestly desire spiritual gifts.”
� The Gifts Are to Be Present in the Church — Paul didn't tell the church to remove the gifts; he taught them how to operate in biblical order.
